yes it does break apart.. but we cant do anything since the show is extended 1+ year so they are going to drag it till we get totally frustrated...

India has DNA tests since long and is far ahead in bio-sciences.Only T and D dont know about it. And yes,Devi may be afraid Mallika can bribe the pathologist to change the report.

remember they had DNA tests in Koi dil men hai and some other serial probably Piya Ka Ghar to find out whose son OM is.

vasamv, i was thinking the same thing,

either mallika will bribe the DNA testing people to change the report, or

when purab and armaan arrive at the court with the report, they will get the tyre punctured, beaten up by goondays, and have the report stolen,

and as with all things (dentist report, photos), there mysteriously will be no back up.
