Rakshanda Khan (Mallika of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin and Tanya of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) does a Yash Chopra-like chiffon saree act in the Star One weekly Happy Go Lucky. The actress shot for the serial at an Andheri school yesterday.

"Blowing hair, chiffon sarees and sudden music. It is an extremely filmy cameo in the serial," says Khan.

The youth-centric serial, Happy Go Lucky, has Khan play a Hindi teacher called Kiran Kashyap. Though engaged for an extra class for the weak students, she bowls the students over, especially Lucky (Harsh Lunia).

"This is a bit like Main Hoon Na because whenever Lucky sees me he starts day dreaming and goes K-K-Kiran! Whenever I am around, the song Jadoo teri nazar fills the air and he goes on a dream trip. He even finds himself married to me, we even have babies and all along Lucky is still a student in his school unifom," laughs Khan about her over-the-top, but extremely funny character.

Happy Go Lucky, produced by Alliance Media, will feature Khan in the June 10 episode.

According to Sushma Kaul, the show's associate producer, "All this while the boys had this particular impression of girls but with the new teacher in their life everything changes. They have grown up on the 'I hate girls' concept and the new teacher teaches them an entirely new lesson."

Kaul also informs that from this week, the show will now air on Friday at 8 pm instead of 7.30 pm.

About her other two shows on air, Khan says, "As Mallika, there is lots yet on her front as the case against Jassi continues. And as Tanya, her tricks continue. Interestingly, she has been nominated in the Favourite Saut category as Tanya in the Star Parivaar awards.

"My mother is having a good laugh at the fact that I am in the Favourite Saut category," adds Khan, who for a change is not anchoring the awards ceremony. "This time I will just sit back and enjoy the show," she says.
