Requesting all newbies

this is a request to the newbies who do not know the rules of this forum well.

guys,please don't post any short update withou tany prior information to the regular updaters.this creates problems. we write detailed updates with so much effort sitting in front of computer so long and while posting we see that someone has already posted a short one and killed all the suspenses of our posts. not only that, some of the regular readers logged off thinking that we will not come. you must admit that we write very detailed updates, not short ones. so this is a very tiring job. at least we can hope to have some co-operation(if not love!!) from you people! so ,kindly keep it in mind!!!

Please do not discourage members from posting completely valid posts. There is an audience for all posts. This message reminds me of the message we had a couple of days ago where someone was complaining that the updates were spoiling the suspense for the actual show.

Please do not take someone's short update as a threat to your\efforts.Your updates are better than the actual show. I am sure there are people who read your updates even after seeing the show.

If as a moderator, you feel there should be only one update in the updates section then consider moving the other updates to the general discussion forum. BTW, this will reduce your constant refresh bandwidth problem also.

I felt this was an unnecessarily harsh response to someone who was just trying to do a good deed for people who are eager to know the episode details as soon as possible

And yes, Thank you and all the updaters for helping all of us out here with

your prompt and witty updates.

I agree I read the first short update thinking the same. That update said the episode was ok, but reading Rumi's update, I thought that episode is not just ok, it sounds pretty interesting.

I guess perhaps Rumi may have felt bad that the short post saying that the show was ok. She takes out all this time from her family to type up the update to get us excited for the show and then to see someone's short update saying the show was ok, sort of made her feel like she did all that work for nothing.

this is the uupdate section.any of you can write anything in the general discussion section.but here only one update should come at a time. because if you post it here people will think that We will not write . if you want to post a short update , at least inform us. without any prior information can anybody post any update here? what then we are for? and this is not harsh comment, this is one request . don't you think that posting that update with out any information was also harsh for me? i am not a moderator,i am coolbie. i cannot move any post from here. i can only request you!

Rumi, you are completely justified in requesting that there be only one update in the updates section and you should take this up with the moderators but asking someone to not post something or not disclose what happened in the show till you finish updating is a bit extreme.

Moderators have previously moved posts from the update section to the general discussion section so it is there call what they want to do with this post.

i have already mentined and i am once again mentioning that i am talking about only the update section. you can do anything, you can write anything in the general discussion section.the post which you are talking about on which someone was not happy as it was killing the suspense was in general discusion section, not here. but you cannot post any short one here without prior information. in this forum nothing is done in ad hoc manner. we write updates as we are assigned this duty by our moderators. if we want to change anything or any other writer wants to write we inform modertors and if they allow us to do so we do it.i hope you ,the newbies will also follow this rule and inform us before you post any update here.

I agree with Rumi. The updates she writes are wonderful and it makes sense to have only one update per day.

Rumi: I guess the new person was not aware of this and thanks to you for clarifying. Keep up the great work. You do a great job. Me loves your updates! 😊
