How is it to simultaneously work in a comedy show and a television soap?
It's been two years since I have been playing Nandu. I almost know how Nandu thinks and reacts to situations. The Great Indian Comedy Show is a challenge because I have to do something new with myself every single day.

With Jassi and her makeover, where will Nandu figure in her life?
Nandu joins Gulmohar, which is bought over by Jessica. Nandu will continue to like Jassi and be with her as her closest friend. Beyond that, you would have to ask the storywriters.

And how would Gaurav Ghera want Nandu to shape up?
If I had my way, I would want Nandu to have a negative shade. Probably get even with Jassi when she hurts him or get back at every guy who makes him feel jealous.

Do you think serials like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin help to break or build stereotypes?
I think they have been building up stereotypes. But, then when the story is doing good no one can complain. You can see that both Jassi and Nandu are lovable characters. Nobody abhors them or tries to run away from them.

Do you think that an average looking simple guy can get a good-looking girl in real life?
I have seen many dull looking guys going around with pretty girls. I think they are the ones who will give the girls more attention and love them all the more. I was a guy from a small town who couldn't speak English. But my ex-girlfriend was quite pretty.

Would you fall in love with a plain Jane?
I think I would. It is always difficult for a plain looking girl to attract initial attention because what appeals to the eye comes first. But, once I know the girl and if she is a good human being, she would be the most beautiful girl in my eyes.

What about the woman in your real life?
I don't have anyone in my life right now. I am a complete flirt but a harmless one. I flirt with every girl on the sets. As for anything serious, I went steady for eight years and now, I don't seem to have time for it.
