hi friends before my net does a disco again i m writin to u about our safety

it has been terrible tuesday for mumbaikars

i dont know what ppl want by doin this

till last year we had LR in bomb blasts

mumbai bein commercial capital and its lifeline hit was very bad

last whole week has been bad

first the rains then riots now this blasts

dont know hw much mumbaikars can take

i was worried abt my son safety as he usually boards the train from churchgate at 6pm and when i heard the news at 6.30 i panicked and tried callin his cell but no the networks were jammed and i cudnt reach him

i kept callin several times to him and my daughter who was alredy in bldg

finally after some anxious moments i cud contact my daughter and she told me her brother is in bldg only and i heaved a sigh of relief

when i reache home i asked him what time did u come home

as we stay on western line which was hit i was worried about him

he told me he got off the train at 6.10pm and the first blast was at 6.20pm

had he taken a train 6pm i cant imagine further

i keep thankin god that my son was home safe how close he was to the danger

its totally insane on part of terrorists to target innocent ppl

everyone says mumbai is back on its tracks yes

but the fear remains

mumbai has suffered a lot past week

and i dont know how long we wud suffer

my heart goes out to those unfortunate ppl

yet mumbai moves

its spirit is alive

even if the fear is there

its distressin to watch tv now to see more news

thas all i hv to say

Oh thank goodness your son is safe. I knew that you don't use the train for commuting but didn't know that your son uses it. Btw Meena, there are 2 threads currently running - one put up by jassisuri and the other by apurva, about the bomb blasts - don't forget to read them.

thanks GOD CB ur son is safe. I must say it was surely a narrow escape. the ppl who were injured GOD help them so that they recover early and reach their dear ones. And who are dead may their souls rest in peace.

Oh!, Thank God, I heard from you Mina. Can you believe, I couldn't sleep last night. I have very soft heart. I cannot tolerate these things. I cannot see people suffering. I saw so many dead bodies on 10.30 news and I couldn't sleep all night.
Thanks God you and your family is safe.
I am praying for the injured people for their faster recovery.
Take care,
Neelam
