How would you describe our bonding??

It has always intrigued me,how did we people bond🤔..I mean,one common interest..a mere television show....isnt is just so startling.....most of us havent even met each other, yet so many of us are so fond of each other(atleast i m fond of so many people😃)....

I tried to zero in on one of captivating feature,something which makes us want to bond with each other, but i really couldnt make a guess....

Perhaps its the space that we get....we can divulge so many of our feelings here,as we know that its not going to effect us or put us to any kind of embarrassement😃...At the risk of sounding a tad preposterous,I confess that I have felt at one point of time that we can find really good councilors in our friends/confidantes here😳...

So my question is...what makes us bond so well..Is it common beliefs,common thoughts,common likes and dislikes or is it something very inexplicable ??

Good topic, Buffie. First of all it was a common interest: JJKN SHOW that we all felt was different than any other show in TV Industry. Secondly as you said, we all can express our feeling here without any embarassement or harrassement. The good thing about this forum is that you don't know who the person is and how the person will react to your opinion, but we try to give our constructive criticism where ever we feel its necessary.
Thirdly, there is a friendship bond that we all found here that will remain with us for rest of our lives. This bond is not FORCED or FORMAL, we just like each other regardless of our flaws. We just accept any actions from our friends as our own.
Buffie you reminded me of the following beautiful lines from a famous writer:
"Liberties taken by a friend are friendship's rightful possession, and to accept them is the duty of wise men."

Hmmmmm......the topic gives one food for thought.

Well, in the first place, what brought us together was our love for JJKN. While it is not always true that people of common interests have to necessarily like one another or have matching personalities, in the case of JJKN, i guess all of us were (are? 😳 ) so obsessed that we just HAD to bond with each other. Then we realized that there are actually warm and intelligent people on this forum, and that bond can extend beyond mere discussion to friendship.

I do firmly believe that people are drawn to those who are suited to them, so i guess in a way, we all were "programmed" to be together.

My thoughts...

Well, we were all equally glued to jjkn 😛 , n all the discussions we have had, have been very open, unlike other forums where u have to like SS 😕 or any other actor/actrss no matter wat 🤢 , which is absurd 😡 ... we have criticized mona n apu inspite of lowing them n equally appreciated them when they deserved an applause...

At the end of the day we all realize that in these naughty/hot/silly/cute discussions 😛 we share a lovely bond of friendship 😳 which has brought all of us close...We haven't seen e/o but therez a feeling in our hearts which knows tat we r all meant to be 'Forever Friends'...By each passing day, we got soooo close to e/o tat inspite of JJKN ending 😭 we r here for e/o 😛

Oh Buffie, you have said something that I have often wondered about myself. I find it amazing how fond I am of all of you. Not just that, I have been able to share things close to my heart which I may not have normally shared with anyone and that too at times with people half my age. As Neelam keeps saying, age is no barrier to friendship - I realized that only after I came here.

There's just one thing that terrifes me - some members like Deepa are here one day and vanish forever the next day. I have become so close to some of you that the thought that one by one all of you will move on and will be lost to me forever makes me so sad!!! 😭

Anusha nice topic. JJKN is the main reason why we bonded so well. And secondly even now I come just to make sure I see everyone's posting something or the other I feel chal saab yahi hai.... 😆
Like Hansa I too get anxious if I don't see anyone for sometime. I am a little hesitant to PM them. But soon enough they are back.

jjkn was the thing which brought us together and we formed friendships which goes beyone boundaries or seas or anything

we all had something common to share with the other person and we found someone more to ur liking and bonding grew
now some of us have met each other in real life or are in touch thru fones

plus one more factor is there
we r mostly females here and females find it easier to bond with anothe female without fear of anything stupid happening
i think this is what connected me to forum and ppl here
who r all witty kind and warm person
and understanding each other is also the key here

i know i hv seen even more bond when deepa met with accident and all of us were concerned how she is and were longin to know her news.now she is missing again with no contact whatsoever 😭
prachi is also missin bt she can be contacted

i saw the same togetherness whe LR news came and we all rallied around her though on the web bt she felt the care of her friends

i saw the same bond when london was bombed on 7/7
the same thing on mumbai deluge of 26/7
and now also i had posted one topic yday and was surprised to get that many replies


we understand each other and we wont attack each other or blurt out the secrets of other person like that

this is the bond that despite show bein over most of us r still here

😃 i guess our love for jjkn show translated into love for its fans over the past months / years as appropriate-
whether we think alike / very differently, whether we are of same age / different, whether we live in the same country / different, we just love to know what the others have to say..
i think IFians dearly like each other.. i know i do. i miss u guys terribly! trying to finish this one project w/o distractions, and yet i logged in at 2.14 am to see what ya'll are upto these days..
