Okay, we all agree IF is our second home😃..espesh, here in the JJKN forum😛..we are surrounded by wonderful people with different personalities and opinions..but all one intrest-JJKN..and the JJKN forum is where we all come to discuss all and more related to this one common intrest of ours😊

The theme of this topic is "JJKN forum ka safar"..like IF, our forum has had its own unique twists and turns along the way..which brings us right here. right now😛

OKAY..this question is intended more on the older members:😳

What period do you prefer the JJKN forum, the: PAST or PRESENT?😛..Do you think the JJKN forum has changed a lot, in a year?

OKAY..PAST meaning, a good old year ago today..when the forum was all about discussing the soap, beautiful fanfics and of course the Armanians and the Purabians !!😃..along with the precious members of that era; which included the likes of Lashy, Ides, Rumi, JP, BL and a bit after, along came the likes of CB, Tina, Anju, Hansa, Deepa, Prachi, JK.....😃

PRESENT, meaning right here. right now...the JJKN forum a year later😃..the JJKN forum today !!😛..where the term 'masti' has a new definition😈😈😈, humour has been taken to a new level😆 and don't forget the shaaitans that have made this forum so lively !😃😃😃..these spirited shaitans include the likes of buffie, priyu, tiki, khushii, limey, mawalika, Khair....BEWARE: this lot are an energetic bunch!(literally, most of them are online till the early hours of the morning😆)

So, is it the JJKN forum of the PAST or the JJKN forum of the PRESENT aka now???😛

moni my jaw just dropped readin all that

and i had to brush my memory to recall the past and think of present

and i wonder why no one has replied to this wonderful and meaningful post of urs

i think i wud ask sowmy to make this sticky so all can reply

hmm ok let me start with past

i hv been here on the forum since past 1year
initially i was not active when i joined the forum but after a month or so precisely july i became active and has been on the forum since

its only been now in april end that i went missin for 2weeks due to personal work and that period i missed most being away from forum and u all ppl.

past was good where all meaningful discussions took place and lots of humour and fun was there

there was a huge discussion abt armaan jassi weddin which was supposed to take place on 5th aug but it never happend and so many of us got so angry that all took out the anger in everyway they cud and most of the ppl got frustrated and left the forum.
too much depression but there was good times still
i had not been in the purabian era and i joined in armaan era where all the droolings started and lots of leg pulling was goin on.
then there was mock wedding of armaan to most of forum gals. that was so funny.

that past was good real good and so many members discussed so many things and friendships developed. never a dull moment anywhere.

bt then came the shaitans and everything changed.

the shaitan number one wanted to have her own way and this did anger many old members
some quit some retaliated and some felt disgusted
over the time whole issue was resolved and this shaitan now has become the darlin of the forum. haha well i m being honest now here

let me tell u something
i am of the old generation and my thinkin wud differ from the current young generation but as with everything change is bound to happen

parivartan sansar ka niyam hai(change is rule of the world) and so on it goes.
if there is no change no one wud like it and we have to go along with the new and improved changes

things dont stay same anytime.
i wud say past had its own fun and enjoyment and its own moments

and so is with present.

each era with its own set of members and with their own thinking.

both have been good in their own ways

and no offence meant to anyone 😉 😆

Well..........i've only been here since October...........so don't have much knowledge of the 'old era'.............though i would like to have been there.........sounded fun and peaceful........but i came now.........and all the shaitaans made a fab job of the forum and it was so lively!!!! i had a hard time keeping up with all the threads due to all the laughing!!!!! it really was a time for fun and masti and i enjoyed it!!😛

gosh moni..what an awesome topic😃

i can safely say i did join a year ago and i have seen the past era and the present era😆 and i love both!

i still remember the time when there would be massive debates on the forum about who was better suited for Jassi, Purab or Armaan...ofcourse at that time i was a total silent member, lurking around the forum here and there😆 lekin i read the debates nevertheless..and ive got to say we had the most amazing debators at thats time...where has everyone gone now?😭

the present is rocking too...gosh priyu, nushie, tiki, khairu and everyone else has added so much spunk and masti to the forum.....

i loved and still love the JJKN forum....both present and past, we've had some amazing times.......

gosh im getting teary........😭

I have been on IF since last April even though i joined in June...i wont start explainin everythin now... 😆

so...i kinda know what it was in the past 😳 and as khush said the discussions were amazing in the past. 😳 i loved reading Aabha(i saw her post more then 😳 ), CB, Deepa, Prachi, Hansa didi, JP...etc.

However there are enough discussions now too. 😳

Both 'era's' rock! 😃

haiii and just like Priyaa .... i wanna turn back time! 😭

Thanks Moni for this wonderful topic. I think I was waiting for some kind of discussion on JJKN forum, since JJKN ended, this forum lost its charm but I missed every moment we enjoyed together: laughing, crying, arguing, discussing, agreeing etc. I started my I-F safar with very sad moments when we lost two of our charming, beautiful, young memebers, but I guess time is always a biggest heeler. Slowly I started getting to know all the members and started participating in discussions and came to know that really Frindship has no age bars. Most of my friends on this forum are younger than me. Moreover some of them are my kids age but I feel no difference. I always felt the warmth of the family on this forum. I was a silent reader when Purab and Arman fans used to have hot discussions, but I think we had great time in last year of JJKN too.
I admire the courage and energy all the young members have on this forum. I go to some other forums too but I haven't seen any as active forum as JJKN.
I think both the old and new times were great. I wish we can REVISIT those moments but as CB said."Change is the law of nature."

It reminds me of Kal Ho na Ho song:
Har ghari badal rahi hai roop zindagi,Cchaon hai kabhi, kabhi hai dhoop zindagi,
Har pal jahaan, jee bhar jio, jo hai samay kal ho na ho------

I've expressed, many a time, about how much I wish I could've been here during the "golden days" of our forum... I'm green with envy to be honest. If only I had discovered IF during the summer of '05!!! Alas, it was not to be.

I admit... I'm rather pleased to be included in the list of shaitans... though I haven't done anything absolutely outrageous (yet 😉 ).

I think... as long as we're here together... as a family, I'm happy, corny as it sounds. For me, IF is a haven and whether it be past or present... I'm happy with it.

So... no preference. 😛
