Armaan is at a loss for how to reach Jassi. The rain has stopped, and he gets his car towed to the resort.
As the pileup on the highway increases, vendors take the opportunity to do some business. A flower-seller approaches Saagar's car. Francesca buys a bouquet for Jassi.š
"Yeh aapko 'Thank You' kehne ka bahut chhota sa tareeka hai."
Jassi accepts the flowers with thanks, but her face is tense.
They are all hungry, and F wants to buy some food from the vendors; Jassi tells them to help themselves but she will not eat.
S: Jassi, kuch kha lijiye, pata nahin kitna time aur lag jayega.
J: Nahin Saagar, aap log mere liye mat rukiye, main jab tak Armaan se na mil lun, mujhse kuch nahin khaya jayega.
At 10:30 pm, the traffic finally clears and the car speeds towards JandA's cottage.
Armaan watches the shops close down one by one. Apparently he is hungryāhe sees a restaurant and imagines him and Jassi having a candle-lit dinner there (very brief JandA shot in the dreamš³).
The GTD approaches himā"Sa'ab, traffic jam clear ho gaya hai, aap kahe toh main aapko le chalunā¦"
Armu gratefully gets into the taxi, and they set off.
Jassi has taken the front passenger seat, next to Saagar. She tells them both to be on the lookout for Armaan's carā"Ho sakta hai Armaan mujhe dekhne issi taraf aa rahe ho".
On the same road, the taxi with Armaan in it is speeding towards them.
Francesca drops her keys on the floor; she bends down to pick them up.
At the same moment, Armaan's taxi passes them; Armaan sees Jassi sitting next to Saagar with the flowers in her hand.(F is not visible under the seat.)
Jassi does not notice him because she is apparently not expecting him in a taxi.
Armaan is taken aback. He tells the driver to stop, pays him off and slowly walks back in the same direction which he had come from.š
As they approach the main gate of the resort, Jassi distinguishes Armaan's car in the parking lot and sighs in relief. "Armaan yahin par hainā¦thank you Babaji!"
Saagar drops her outside the gate. "Jassi, hum toh chahte thi ki andar aake sare baat clear kar de, par bahut der ho chuki hain aur ghar par sab chinta kar rahe honge. Agar aapko aitraaz na ho tohā¦hum yahin se laut jaye?"
Jassi says warmly, "Aap logon ne mere liye itni takleef uthayi, yehi bahut haiā¦.ab main ghar aa gayi hun, koi chinta ki baat nahinā¦.Armaan zaroor meri baat samamjh jayenge."
Francesca: Hum aap dono se milne zaroor aayengeā¦.apni shaadi ka card deneā¦..aapko aana hi hoga!"
J smiles and nods. The two drive away.
Jassi happily approaches her cottageā¦.but to her dismay the door is still locked. She goes frantically to the watchman.
"Kya Mr.Armaan Suri yahan aaye the?"
Watchman: Haan, madam, woh shaam se 3 baar yahan aa chuke hainā¦par woh cottage ke bahar se hi laut gaye.
J: Parā¦par unki car to yahin hai..
Watchman: Madam, car mein koi problem aa gayi hai, issliye woh usse yahan chod gaye.
J (desperately): Unhone kuch bataya, woh kahan ja rahe hain?
W: Nahin madam, par woh thode naaraz lag rahe theā¦.
Jassi sighs in despair and slowly walks back to the cottage. She listlessly opens the door and switches on the lights. Her eyes fall on the note she had left, lying untouched. She picks it up and re-reads it with tears in her eyes.
"Armaan, kaash tum andar aaye hoteā¦tumne yeh note padha hotaā¦.pata nahin tumhare mann mein kya haiā¦tum mujhse naaraz ho kya..?"šš
After sitting for a while, she suddenly gets up, her face determined.
"Main Armaan ko dhoondh kar hi rahoongiā¦ā¦.mere aur Armaan ke beech mein koi galatfehmi nahin aa sakti!'š
Tomorrow: Jassi is walking in the rain, carrying an umbrella.
