This is about two unique characters of television, plain Jane Jassi and forever understanding Dr Simran. Apparently, these characters were hyped as the whiff of fresh air amidst those never-end ing saas-bahu sagas. However, now even these shows have become stale and viewers are cribbing about the storyline. And for once it seems that the channelwallahs have paid heed to the agony of viewers.

As the sources inform, the story of Dr Simran in Astitva Ek Prem Kahani... will meet its due end by the second week of January. On the other hand, Sony plans to replace Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahiin with a new reality show called Paisa Bhari Ho Gaya by the second week of February.
