Mumbai, Feb 5: Sucessful interactive cooking classes were conducted by celebrity chef Deepa Awchat at Goa Portuguesa, Culture Curry and Diva party lounge as part of an ongoing Mumbai Featival recently.
Lucky Mumbai foodies, ladies and some gentlemen gathered at Mumbai's hot spot Goa Portuguesa, Culture Curry Restrobars and Diva Party Lounge at Shivaji Park, for Cooking classes conducted by Deepa Awchat. The invitees by food critic Rashmi Uday Singh had a whale time, while being demonstrated Artipoovu Wada (banana flowers cutlet) - (Andhra), red pumpkin soup and prawns or veg stuffed papad (Goa), Chicken Chettinad (Tamil Nadu), Dessert Serra Durra (Portugal). They were also served the same dishes, which were cooked in advance so that they could interact and question chef Deepa, about minute details.
Every registered invitee were also handed detailed printed recipes. Chef Deepa and her husband Dr Suhas Awchat are known for their simple style of teaching.
The cookery classes were also attended by celebrities like Milind Soman, Sonali Kulkarni, Vikas Bhalla 😆 and many more.
