Jassi slapped Armaan:1st anniversary

HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY, pals! And does anyone remember,it is exactly one year since jassi slapped Armaan outside Ruby mom's house.
I guess i'm behaving like a little nitwit by mentioning a thing like this, but really......when i compare what JJKN was last year at this time with what it is NOW, i just.....<sigh>

And to think i nearly missed that episode! I was staying in my hostel at that time, so battles over the sole TV set were quite common. That day everyone was watching the movie "Bombay"--a Republic day special, and i thought-"There goes my JJKN.." But luckily, a break came on at exactly 9:30, so i immediately changed the channel. After that everyone got so engrossed in JJKN that they forgot about the movie. If i had missed it, i never would have lived it down..

What i scene it was! All of us in the common room were giggling nervously. When Armu arrives at Ruby mom's house and she asks him "what will you have, Armaan?", the girl sitting next to me said"Jassi" 😃and we all were giggling again like crazy.
Oh mannnnn, i was laughing and getting goosebumps at the same time........
The furore that that scene created! People who did not watch that epi were like "Jassi WHAT???" when they heard. I went home shortly afterwards, and one of the first things my mom (who rarely watched JJKN) asked was "What's this i hear? jassi SLAPPED Armaan?"

What were your feelings, guys, when you saw that scene for the first time? Let's indulge in some nostalgia. Oh, the good old days.......

aiyiyi......i loved the sorry letter which he wrote jassi...as though he was the one who slapped her! 😆

all i remember is the slap which came in over and over again in ajk jassi special

and blyton ur id reminds me of enid blyton heheeee

Oh Blyton, i missed that episode and when i read its update, i kicked and kicked myself for missing it. So I was over the moon when i saw the slap in the AJK special 😃

Ohhhhhh, I loved Enid Blyton as well. I read all of them when i was a kid and then again when my son was reading them 😆😆.....Mr. Pink Whistle, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Malory Towers........sigh.........those good old childhood days!!!
