Humanity or Stupidity?

I am not sure what this is-Jassi and Raghav starting a drama for his parents' sake, presenting themselves in front of society as Mrs & Mr R. Oberoi, going on pretending to be married, never finding the courage to confess etc.
*Is all such pretending really about friendship, doing it to help out a friend in need?
*If J & R mutually agreed to pretend, why could J never tell R about Armaan? They are not being honest with his family, least she could have done is to be honest with R.
*Isn't this pretending to be bahu of one family hurting feelings of others now? How far can someone stretch with such pretensions?
*Fooling people, you care about deeply is worse, and longer you put on a charade to avoid hurting them, more hurt you are likely to cause in the end by delaying being honest. Don't you think?

Why do T&D show scenarios that are least likely to be real? Anyways, would you go to the extent Jassi is going for a friend like Raghav?

Raghavs saved Jassi's life in the court case when she was all alone without a lawyer....she owed him that much to help his father....she did not know what she was getting into at all...i think she honestly thought she was helping the family and raghav, since it was the least she could do after what raghav did for her

I agree with Sweetsorrow, but I also agree with paheli that in the end "these lies will and have hurt more number of people than those who were helped".

Seems like some poeple just never learn any lesson in life. They have to repeat their mistakes over, and over

I agree that her intentions were good in the beginning-to help out Raghav and his dieing dad...but how far should she do? Now she is hurting her real in-laws in many ways, in this process, too.

Totally agree with you that it was streched too far. But if anyone had to take the decision it was Raghav and Jassi kept asking him to tell his family. It was Raghav's weakness. Jassi didn't carry on the charade with his family when it came upon her to tell the family. She took the Kaka who was close to the family the moment she got an opportunity unlike Raghav who kept putting it away.

I'm really shocked it didn't backfire, this is the first time i've seen an extended, overblown lie come out unscathed...actually, if the will results are to be believed, it didn't come out as cleanly as everyone would have hoped.
