lagta hai babaji ne billu ki sun lee. you know i have been wondering about this , a multimillionaire is on a long sabatical hobnobing with a sec turned ceo of a competitor company and yet press seems to take no notice, society pages wale kya kar rahe hai.anyways lagta hai ab writers sahi ja rahe hai, this backs up my assertion, to appease billu and reporters , they decide to keep pretenses until they fall in love( by the way this part seems to be inspired from judith mcnaught's romantic novels) great romantic books in case you guys are interested. once you start , you just cannot put it down.

How does this info reach the press-

a few guesses:

1) armaan delibrately feeds this to the press to discredit jassi and undermine her achievement

2) presswalahs reach the walia house when they are discussing this and overhear it

3) Sheetal, says something offhandedly to the press

Anyways, i don't think jassi and purab will pretend to be in love because of this or for that matter to appease billu.

going by jassi's irrational behaviour these days, especially toeards purab, i think she will blame him for this too and stop talking to him (at least till she gets to know who did it) and we will be subjected (again) to the trauma of seeing armaan using this to his advantage. So, are we back to square one ?

ides , i could die for her books, strange how even her sappy stuff is practical and oh so different from all the other books, her heros and heroines are perfect yet human(almost like purab)trapped with thier personal demons and desires, and love is a constant trial yet solace.

by the way i was thinking more of book called "remember when" where cole the charismatic yet aloof business tycoon offers marraige to a former friend who is hounded by press and has just suffered a broken engagement with a playboy(armaan), and is facing problems with her business as a result.

i think press has been quite for too long especially on the case of someone who must be as visible as purab. the lives of rich and trendy are always of interest especially when two of them come from such different backgrounds and one of them wins a coveted international contract after the other (who is an undisputed winner)seems to make way for the first one with unusual grace.

by theway if jassi gets mad with purab, she gives more fodder for media, loses purab's friendship, makes purab look bad , disappoints her parents and earns the wrath of snobby corporate world. a better way would be to keep up pretences and break up later, if purab agrees to the plan(which ofcourse he will)

so true pj.....I got started with Witney my love....and am still hooked....and now that u mention it.....yes....Purab's character is quite like theh heroes in mcNaught's books....to die for......😉

btw the particular book I was talking abt also had the same theme..... the "rake's" father had fed the news of their engagment to the local gazzette and then proceeded to stage a fake heartattack to force his son and the heroine marry......

hmmm....cant really see Billu do that.....

u gals r right abt the media....what I think has happened is that they have added 2 and 2 together and gotten 5 without checking their facts....now a sensible Jassi might do exactly as u predit pj, however keeping in mind her past track record, we really dont know how this new Jasssi will react....lets just hope she gives us something to look forward to in the next few days....

yep remember that one , it was from her regency collection, remenber when is a contemporary one, they have almost same themes except in the first one hero is a rake while in second he is a reclusive, brilliant and ruthless businessman taking care of his very stubborn uncle . by the way have read all her books, own most of them in my collection....waiting still for her water's edge to come out
