He walks toward Inesita's door as though he's about to ring the bell and covers his face with his hands, visibly shaken. He looks as though he may cry. He whispers, "What have I done?" Then he speaks louder, almost yelling, "Damn it, what have I done?" He paces back and forth, agitated and in desperation repeats, "Jealousy, jealousy. "It's jealousy!" He hides his face in his hands once more.
Betty is in the car with Nico. She tells him that Armando had an attack of jealousy, but that the truth came out. His concern was financial. He was concerned for Terra Moda and the money he thinks they're spending. Betty says that since she hasn't prepared the financial report for Armando, and hasn't doctored it up, he gets drunk and follows her around. She wants to make sure that every penny in Terra Moda is accounted for. Nicolas tells Betty that Armando made a spectacle of himself with the fight. Betty says that she was the one who made a spectacle of herself. She slapped him! Betty tells Nicolas that she will never forgive Armando for this. Nicolas says that things won't stay the way they are and that he'll go to Eco Moda tomorrow to take care of Armando. Betty says he's not to do anything. Betty says it's over.
The cuartel wonders what could have happened to Armando to behave the way he did. They wonder if Nicolas provoked him. They talk about Nico and decide he's not as great as Betty made him out to be. Inesita warns the cuartel not talk about this at work tomorrow. They are disappointed.
Betty asks Nicolas to have a detailed financial report of Terra Moda ready for her. She wants all monies accounted for. She asks him what he did with the $3000 he was going to invest. Nico coughs nervously and tells her that he hadn't done anything yet. She says everything must be accounted for. Nico's cell phone rings and it's Patsy-Pat. Nico lies and tells her that he got into a fight with a group of guys who were envious of him. Patsy-Pat invites him to her apartment so that she can give him first aid.
Betty tells him to be careful with the story he told Patty because everyone at Eco Moda will know what happened between he and Armando Mendoza by morning.
Nicolas arrives at Patsy-Pats apartment
Mario asks about what happened. Armando makes excuses about why he fought and Mario asks him if Betty would have gome with him will he sleep with her. Armando answers that if he had to he would. Mario knows he was there because of Betty and not the report as Armando says. Armando tells Mario how he felt good hitting "el muelon" Nicolas. And how he could not stop.Mario asks how did he stop and he answers taht Betty slapped him.Mario is totally surprised and says that that was to much , that he will prefer to lose the company than that , that he will kill her. Armando answers " Oh yeah and the Pinzon family will inherit the compant , THat is wonderful." Mari says "well ok not that , but now you are going to have to say sorry , ho ahead write her a letter." He gives him a paper. Do you know how Inesit is. No he answers.
Betty comes in and is atacked by el cuartel with questons. Betty says she does not want rumors and that they better sont say anything. Ek cuartek tells her that they will have a meeting later.
Hugo is in his space working with models all around him, and he is edgy, whiny and fussy. There is a new woman helping him out with the last minute measurements and adjustments, but he can't take it!! He can't work like this!! He needs Inesita, and Yenny is getting on his nerves! She pouts, and is acting annoying, and he decides that they are both incompetent, and they have to go!
Hugo is then sitting in his "space" in the showroom surrounded by models, talking with Cata and Marcy about the last arrangements, and what has to be taken care of, and how he cannot handle it all, and he needs Inesita. Marcy suggests that he talk to Armando about it, and Hugo says why? So he can attack me, almost kill me with his punches the way he did Betty's boyfriend? "I don't think so" (attitude, not words). Marcy says that she knows that is why Armando has those marks on his face. Hugo (still surrounded ) says "you don't know?" and she replies, know what? He then tells them all to go away, he needs his space. He then speaks in a "confidential tone" (but none too softly) about how Betty slapped Armando the night before. Marcy says what? In front of everyone? And Hugo says, no not everyone, the news and reporters and cameras were not there, so not everyone saw it… Marcy says why, what was she thinking? Hugo replies that it was the only way to stop that out-of-control fool, he was beating the daylights out of her boyfriend(I forget the exact language) Cata is smirking, and clearly trying to hold back a laugh. Marcy is fuming, and Cata redirects the conversation to the event of the evening. Hugo says over and over that he needs Inesita, and Cata says he can't have her, so what will they do now.
Marcy marches calmly into Betty's office and asks Betty directly if she slapped the President of the Company. Betty says she did, it was the only way to stop the fight. Marcy replies that is sure that isn't true. Betty says that it wasn't deliberate, and Marcy replies that she doesn't do anything by accident, that she is a human computer, calculating every move, and that Marcy KNOWS it was intentional. Marcy then begins a very calm, harsh tirade, telling Betty that she may think she has come up in the world, with her rich boyfriend, her Mercedes benz, and invitation to the best restaurants in town that until now she had never set foot in, but she is just an employee at ecomoda, a secretary who THROUGH LUCK ended up in the position of assistant to the President. She may be important in her work at EcoModa, but at the end of the day, tomorrow, etc., she can GO! EcoModa does not belong to her, it belongs to the Valencias and the Mendozas, and she is merely an employee, an employee and nothing more. She has no right to touch the President of EcoModa, much less slap him; she has no right to go out with him, to spend time with him, etc., She is merely a stupid employee, not one of them, she has no class, no real education/manner, She is merely a stupid one! (Estupida) Marcela then turns and leaves, Betty eyes are filled with tears.
