My first post, felt I had to voice some gripes I had with this episode.
I liked
1. They cleared all misunderstandings in one episode -
the last thing you want is for the sob-saga to be stretched over 2-3 different episodes with jarring background music(the way they have when something astonishing or ground-breaking is being said) and sudden motions of the camera once at one actor's face and immediately on the other..you almost feel like there is a slide show going on.
2. Excellent performance by Apoorva and Mona - Apoorva has really matured, see him in Pardes and you just can't believe that the actor sleepwalking in that role, I think the bark of tree could have done better. Anyways I believe that Mona is a good actress right from the beginning, but most importantly both give each other ample space to show their expressions, they complement each other
What I did not like at all
1. Since we are such fans of Jassi-Arman, they could have devoted some more moments to them just savoring each other, like looking in their eyes or the first touch etc.--there were a few, BUT (e.g. the scene where Kajol and Shahrukh meet in the summer camp after so many years in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) - A little more of those moments, because the way I think, its been such a long time with so many misunderstandings, you just can't start where you left off, it takes some knowing, some talking or awkward moments, maybe around the fire, some old memories that they are sharing, some talking when they can't believe that they are together again, just savoring the moments together, etc. that could have been better than showing them waking up in the morning like an old couple and greeting each other like nothing was wrong and they are so familiar
2. Please lets start a fund for Raghav, that guy is a walking-talking ad fo 1-800-DENTIST, man, I am even ready to foot the bill for a dentist to fly from US to India, please TOOTH-REDUCTION OR BUCK-TOOTH REMOVAL somebody. This episode they could have lived without Mr.Buck-Teeth on Brown-Coat, not that I have anything against Karan, but he just did'nt fit in, and god knows how they got Kanwaljeet to play Father-In-law, I think I can take some mud-cake smeared ladies of Ekta Kapoor factory than him. Really they need to make the guy useful, otherwise somebody just might really injure him !!!
3. Guys - if you show ahem-ahem, show it better, than that--really !!! Not saying that they should make it an exercise in French-Kissing and all things naughty but if you don't want to show that..then don't give that illusion - my opinion entirely
All - in - all good episode, but too much done in one episod like trying to stuff all mithais in one small box.
What do you guys think?
