Shashank Vyas faces sudden ouster from JNDSD: TOI article

In an unexpected turn of events, Shashank Vyas' journey in 'Jana Na Dil Se Door' " he plays Ravish " has been cut short abruptly. Incidentally, his entry in the show was delayed by eight months. And now, a year later, it has been decided " overnight apparently " to wind up his track.
Informs a source associated with the show, "Shashank will exit the show by the end of this month. It has not been smooth sailing for him ever since he joined the project. His apprehensions about his role didn't go down well with the makers. At one point, Shashank wanted to quit, but the differences were resolved and he decided to continue. However, he recently expressed his displeasure over his track once again, which may have infuriated the makers further."

Shashank says, "I was informed about my track ending. I played the character with utmost sincerity. I have nothing more to say."
Dismissing rumours of a rift with Shashank, and giving details about the track ending abruptly, producer Yash Patnaik says, "The closure of Ravish's track was discussed at length three weeks in advance. Shashank was informed about the same two weeks ago. So, how can it be overnight? There has never been any conflict or disagreement between us. Shashank is a talented and thinking actor. All his queries have been addressed. His track is ending because we have exhausted every possible angle."

Hmm what can I say? I did comment on IF earlier that he wasn't happy with his role so was causing issues for the PH. But no-one believed me from the other side...just like they didn't believe me when I said they never intended to move away from Vitharv.

Coming to his ouster so basically he has been asked to quit or in crude language thrown out!!

Well we would have accepted him had he not over published himself , called himself Trp puller and what not and the less I say about his fans the more it will be!!

Hopefully we can discuss show peacefully now without any prejudice and 🥱 🥱

Good riddance for the makers and is who can have some peace before the show ends.

Problem is his over driven PR hyped him as the best thing and then PH didn't pay two hoots on his self proclaimed imaginary male lead attitude. You can't enter a show after eight months and try to change it by spewing nonsense on the actual lead, his fanbase being rabid in twitter didn't help his journey much.

I'm glad that since three months makers took a stand, they had killed our show in order to accommodate his demands but with six more months in kitty I think makers want to end the show with it's originality and old flavor by giving a proper closure.

Ravidh was never meant to be the male lead, and sadly audience didn't accept him with Vividha despite two marriages and butchering of Atharva's character in between. Because JNDSD is more an internet hit than that of BARC ratings, I'm glad for once makers didn't fall prey to ratings and realized where they've gone wrong.

The show will end within months I don't have doubts but I'm glad that the last phase of the show will correspond to the first phase, a show becomes memorable if it starts and ends well.

All the best to Shashank for future projects, there's no hate from my side but I couldn't like Ravish despite not being fans of either Vikram or Shivani.

No offence to anybody but his fans cursed the show since he entered as if this show wouldn't survive if he wouldn't accept the character of Ravish. You know you just don't treat a show like this where you want your fav actor to outshine others. Moreover it's more like I love Leo messi but I'll hate the team where he plays because I can't see other players having better form?

I didn't even follow the show but still the bashing Vikram got was what actually made me root for him. I know it's strange but that's how it's
