There were so many parallels in today's episode between phase one characters and characters after the leap.
Just like Vivi melted Atharv's cold heart when she met him, Atharv will soften Vividha's heart when they meet again.
First of all Additi, who is like Guddi of phase one. Sweet Guddi, who was doted on by Vividha and loved and spoilt. Additi is the apple of everyone's eye who brings happiness just by her mere presence in the house, just like the old Guddi was.
Next we have Ankit, who is basically what Chintu was in phase one. Ankit who has creepy intentions towards Additi who feels uncomfortable around him.
Ravish has the characteristics of phase one Vividha, who trusts everyone and believes everyone should be given a second chance.
Vividha, cold and hardened by life, has become like Atharv was before he met her. And just like Atharv, can now read people around her better. She knows that her own brother can't be trusted around Additi just like Atharv knew Chintu could not be trusted.
And in the middle of all of them is little Madhav. Just like his father Atharv. Loved by all and fearless.
And while life goes on slowly in the tabela, with the occasional goondas causing havoc, we have Atharv who is made to live a completely fake life surrounded by deceitful people who are manipulating his every move.
My heart felt so heavy for Atharv today, as I watched Guddi and Chintu romancing under his nose and plotting together to keep their real intentions in the dark. Under Suman's instructions they have led Atharv to believe that Guddi is pregnant and even the Doctor is in on the plan.
Poor Atharv. He is so happy and excited to be a father. He can't wait till his baby is born. And as he holds Guddi in his arms, your heart bleeds because this is how he would have taken care of Vividha when she was expecting their Madhav. He doesn't even know that he has a little son whose early years he missed out on. Whose mother hates him because she thinks he left her. It is so unfair, that the life he should be leading, has been given to someone else. His right to be called a father is no longer his through no fault of his own.
But the pre-cap gives hope. Atharv's memories of Vividha are slowly emerging. He still can't see her face yet he knows she means something important to him. So as he gets up from yet another restless dream, he draws her face.
Just like Vivi melted Atharv's cold heart when she met him, Atharv will soften Vividha's heart when they meet again.
