I don't think I've been so happy to see a character back. Ever! Just seeing ViTharv back in each others arms again, just gives me this warm satisfaction knowing that's where they both belong.
For Atharv, time has stood still. He literally was frozen in time. As far as he was concerned, Kailaash Kashyap had him nearly beaten to death but he survived. And his last memory was of Vividha being dragged away from his arms a mere four or five days ago.
But of course a lot has happened since then. How ironic was it when Atharv told Sujata that he had merely been hit on the head and not lost his memory. Sujata, who just yesterday was tricking Vividha into keeping her marriage with Ravish, was now spouting lines like she knew Atharv would come back to her but was now putting her doubts down to foolishness. But despite all of Suzy's nonsense yesterday, her hug with Atharv did tug my heart a little. For Atharv, his mum is everything.
ViTharv's reunion was just special.
As Atharv walked through the door, Vividha looked at him incredulously not quite believing he was there. And when he told her he came back as promised, she touched his face gently to confirm she wasn't hallucinating again. And then her pure joy! Her realisation that he was in fact standing before her. And she jumped into his arms, the place where she feels most safe, the place which is her home. And they didn't care who was watching them . They were in their own little world, lost in each other's eyes, caressing each others face as they had found each other once again.
And not only had Atharv forgotten everything and everyone, he thought the Vashisht mansion had been done up for his wedding to Vividha. He was so happy when he thanked Ravish for lending his home for his marriage, not knowing he was talking to the man who Vividha had been forced to marry.
My heart hurt so much for him when Atharv told Vivi he knew she would wait for him and then picked up a garland asking if it was for him. Seeing Ramakant's picture confused him and caused him to collapse delaying the inevitable news that is going to break him.
And as Vividha proudly told all the women around her that she always knew Atharv would come back to her, Suman voiced the one thing that had been in the back of everyone's mind.
"Nothing is like what it was before."
In the pre-cap, an excited Atharv tells everyone he can't wait to get married but Sujata tells him he can't marry Vividha.
Atharv and Vividha were so happy. They had found each other again and proved that they only need each other. But a tsunami is going to be unleashed soon in their lives once Atharv finds out the truth.
THAT is going to be hard to watch.
