Actually, you've summed it up. Ravish's characterisation is really weak.

On the one hand they are trying to establish him as this mahaan self-less man, who puts his country first, but he's coming across as a selfish guy who seemingly wants love from his wife, despite the fact that she loves someone else.

And this is why we can't sympathise with him.

You know the reason Suman doesn't irritate me even half of what R does?

It's cos there's no pretence in her case. She's been bitter towards Sujata and shown it, she has shown her dislike for Atharv openly...and I can handle that.

The hatred is unimaginable when it's R and never decreases is because his thoughts, words and actions don't match. He's manipulative, constantly puts Vividha on guilt trips, has done a hundred wrongs and yet his words are over-coated with Mahaanta. He's fake.

And his question to Vividha sounded so desperate just like the one a few days back, one would think he's been deprived of love and concern all his life. And I really will stop before I say something inappropriate. 😆

I'm sure the only flashbacks I care about- Vividha's Phase 1 fbs- would have been really good. I saw pictures of Vividha hugging the little girl, a lot of emotions in them.

As far as Vividha is concerned the intensity is missing

Its almost like in Phase 2 ...There is a protocol and process for Vividha to express her love to Atharv ...It has to go thru the approval of the Lord before vividha even takes a step ...So she has to be at his mercy and he has to force her to go to Atharv ...

And yaa looks like the Cvs suddenly remembered women empowerment ... Today ravish was praising them all over and over ... This is called self defence ... not empowerment buddy ...

Empowerment is what happened in Phase 1

I know Whispa ... I came just about close to forgetting what he has done with Atharv yesterday when he started all his crap again ...but then I don't think liking him is a possibility ... Atharv was flawed with his personality traits but his ethics are very clear ... That's why we love him even flawed with all his temper and all ... Ravish is shown as a good personality but flawed at the ethical level ... That's why liking him is close to impossible ... Certain flaws are acceptable and certain are not ... I am keeping my hopes on vividha based on ur posts ... 😳
