A couple of days ago there was a post asking that if something happens to Atharv, what should Vividha do? Many members stated that she should/would chose to dedicate her life to his memories.
I want to know would you really suggest this course of action to your friends or family. Is this really a sign of "true love"?

Would you condemn someone to a lifetime of loneliness - no one to share a dinner with, no one to go out for a movie with, no one to chat with late at night, no one to laugh or cry with. Is this what the love they have lost want them to do? In this case, is that what Atharv wants her to do - mourn for him for the rest of her life?

Please assume Ravish has moved on and has married someone else - for the sake of this discussion.

Katori.
I Didnt Read Every Comment But As You Said Here "Dedicate her life to his memories"
That Thing Irked Me!
Is This All Love Is About?
Love Is Not Only A Feeling. Its More Than That.
Why Should Vividha Dedicate Her Life To His Memories?
Is Moving On Is Wrong?
Atleast Not To Me!
If I Find Same Thing Happened To My Family Member Of Friend I Will Simply Ask Them First To Make Peace With The Memories Of The Person They Have Lost!
Then Will Ask Them To Concentrate On Whats Here. What Is Present.
And If Possible I WILL ASK THEM TO MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIFE AND YES WITH A NEW PERSON WITH THEIR OWN CHOICE.
If That Person Moves On With New Person Doesnt Mean She/He Didnt Loved The Person Wholeheartedly She/He Has Lost!
Every Single Person Deserve Second Chances IF They Have Lost Their First!
No Body Wants To Be Alone. At One Point All Of Us Need One Single Person To Look After Us. To Share Our Feelings With. To Have Conversations With.
Seriously I Wont Ask Her/Him To Stick To His/Her Memories Forever!
If There Is Chances Of New Hopes, New Aspirations, New Life For Him/Her Then I See No Reason For That Person To Stick To One Phase Forever!
Life Isnt A Fairy Tale And Life Means No Matter What Stones Are Thrown At You YOU GOTTA MOVE ON. Life Is All About Moving On/Going Ahead!

Edited :- To Move On Vividha Doesnt Need To Forget Atharva! He Can Always Be There In Her Heart! And If She Does Move On Theres Nothing Wrong In That. She Is Just 21. Has A Long Life Ahead Of Her. She Could Complete Her Studies. Get On Her Own Feet. Get Job. Financially Stable. Find New People. New Friends. New Phase And If She Wants She Can Get New Love. That Love Which Wont Take Away Atharv's Place And Will Make His Own Place In Her Heart! She Doesnt Deserve To Be Alone. No One Does! Sticking To His Memories MIGHT Pain Her! And Love Doesnt Give You Pain. Atharva Would Never Ever Want Her To Stick To His Memories Forever. He Would Want Her To Be Happy And Free From Any Sort Of Pain!

That's why there is a concept of second marriages after a spouse dies.I know there are still certain parts of society who still have this regressive thinking that a girl should not be allowed to live or dream of a better future if her husband dies. I remember Ishq ka Rang serial highlighted that aspect..
If people talk about women empowerment in this serial then they should realise that by bounding Vividha to Athrav's memories as they say, is regressive mentality. If you say that Vividha should have a say in deciding if she wants to have sex or not then she should also have a say in deciding if she wants live with memories or not. That's why this place is full hypocrites..they say one thing in one post and then completely negate in their other post.

I wouldn't say people shouldn't move on, of course they can, it's their life, their choice.

For me though I always think there's that one true love, nothing and no one can compare to it. I believe in soulmates, and for me you can only have one soulmate. But that's just my own view.

I certainly would not recommend staying in their beloved memories forever, especially when they are so young and have a whole life ahead of them. They do have to move on in life and there is certainly nothing wrong in falling in love a second time or marrying a second time.

We said vividha has promised atharva that she will live a full life with or without him. So she will . No one is asking vividha to stay alone.
But if she doesn't want to marry someone else then how will forcing her again do any good. It is injustice to the boy as well right?

of course...Every single person has right to be happy and to move on with their life.
and keeping his/her loved ones in their memory and remembering them not sin but dedicating their entire life for them when they are not around...is foolishness.

My answer to her post,

"It's always Vividha's choice.Even Atharv wanted her to move on with life if something happened to him. It's Vividha who said she wouldn't let another person, not even death to come between them.

Atharv's death would be the biggest blow in her life. She'll have to recover from it eventually.

Personally,I'll suggest her to take a break from everything...I don't want the Kashyaps or Vashists to influence her thinking...The decision should be hers...and hers only...Her life is upside down because Kailash made a decision for her

She should live her life away from them,to sort out her thoughts ...a month or two...Move in with a friend who could support her or go to a new city or trying a job as an accountant,...or continue her studies...Try to understand what she wants in life...and then decide..."

When you you live your life, you meet different people.if she finds someone who she could accept in her life...and if the other person also feels the same way,She could get married...But if she feels she cannot accept anybody in her life then she has the right to do so.

True empowerment is doing what one wants to do...May it be getting married again or living with one's memories...It's her choice...

I believe you didn't read the post mentioned by the TM.

In case, Atharv is no more or he simply disappears, do you think Vividha will lead a married life with Ravish and have his kids?

Or do you think she will not. Like a true lover, she will remain a virgin and dedicate her life to something in the name of Atharv? Like one A did after her husband's death.

What do you want her to do?

If I am in her shoes, I will go for the second option. Because in life one can only love once with all heart, No compromises.

Basically there are two questions in the same post.

If you have watched the show during the Phase 1,you would know how much importance was given to their Vachans. The 6 th vachan by which Atharv wanted her to move on if something bad happens to him.Vividha refused for it and promised that she'll never let anyone not even death come between them.

What will she do and What do you want her to do are two seperate questions?

I went through the entire thread.People answered that she WILL not (not SHOULD)be able to give Atharv's place.Or some including the TM said what they will do if they are in her place...So it's basically one's choice.

I am pasting the link here so people are not judged based on assumptions.

with or without atharv the first thing vv want to do is to focus on her career...she dreamed of becoming an accountant...she can fullfill it...coming to love or marriage...considering vv's devotion to Atharv i dont think shel give his place to anyone else

there r some members who just want to bash vitharv fans not evn reading their posts just lyk not evn watching the show from beginning n commenting on others perspective..
