My emotions are all over the place right now so apologies if this review doesn't make sense. And I just want to say, before I start, that Vikram Singh Chauhan you are simply amazing!
So as many of us predicted yesterday, Atharv's confession to Vividha was her dream. But the fact is that the dream gave so much clarity to Vivdha. She knew definitely, without any doubt that Atharv did not and could not kill Atharv. As Ravish insists on sneakily taking Atharv's fingerprints behind Sujata's back, Vividha tried to tell him that what he was doing was wrong. That Sujata would never stand against the truth. That there was no way Atharv was the killer and she would never believe it. But Vividha's pleadings fell on deaf ears.
Because of course whatever Ravish decides is absolutely right. Chaining someone, slapping him, accusing him of molestation and murder is fine if Ravish does it, because he is such an upstanding soldier! Ravish as a character has failed big time. Not that I care. In one foul swoop, he has managed to sway the entire's audience sympathy to Atharv. (Thanks Wish!)
Vividha made me so proud of her today. I know a lot of you were doubting her yesterday but didn't I tell you she will never give up on Atharv and would always stand by him.Today all her actions and words were about saving Atharv, to the extent that she wanted to take back her murder complaint if it meant keeping Atharv with her. Her desperation, her fear, her grief was so palpable. She was terrified.
The Vitharv scene where she puts her hand over Atharv's and puts it on the machine was beautiful. The way she looked at Atharv was everything. This is what love is. She was so convinced that the fingerprints wouldn't match but when they did she insisted the machine was wrong. She proved herself to be Atharv's soulmate today Shweta, didn't she?
But today my heart went out to Sujata. That poor woman has been through so much in life. Her talk with God was heartbreaking. Her son is being taken away and she is completely helpless to do anything to stop it.
And Atharv Sujata.
How much more will this man have to suffer. When will life stop being so unfair to him. Like Sujata said, all he did was love a woman with his soul. And today, with his bag on his back and bananas in his hand, he was so happy because he thinks he is going on a picnic that his captain saab promised him. Little does he know that the man he so trusts so much, is getting him locked up in a place where he has no one.
And as he said goodbye to the emotionless Vashisht family, he turned to his mother and said 'Ma.'
In the pre-cap, Sujata blamed Vividha for everything that has happened to Atharv. Vividha is already grief-stricken and this is going to make her even more guilty.
My heart went out to Atharv, Vividha and Sujata today. It was again proved once again that they only have each other, can only trust each other. The uncaring, unfeeling Vashishts only care and look out for each other. Atharv will never be a Vashisht. And I'm so glad!
