I know I'm a bit late, but I needed some time to let the episode finally sink in & properly gather my thoughts. So, this was one crazy episode! There were so many freakin' emotions involved, & that's when you are entitled to say the episode was not only good, but great.
Yes, it was horrifying & tragic, but it was a rollercoaster, & I loved it!
Even if I felt numb throughout, you just know the actors have done their part to the fullest degree!
Okay, so, I'll mention the parts that stood out to me first.
The 7th vachan is done & dusted, as we all know, ViTharv are officially married. Vividha's heart, soul, & body belongs to Atharva now, whether or not she gets married to some other guy, he will never be a husband to her because she has Atharva & that's enough. She promised him she'll wait, & he promised to her he will return. ViTharv don't break their promises, to them, their vachans & their promises are sacred.
Atharva getting beaten was excruciating! The amount of times he got taken down today, but he didn't give up without a fight for his love on the one hand, & for his Mother on the other! That's the Atharva we all love & admire.
He got bashed in the head with a bat by the devil, but he wouldn't for the life of him let go of Vividha, even in that formidable state. He fought back, & he caught her hand. The wistful look, the relief on Vividha's face was radiated across her face.
And not to mention, that trio hug! Atharva's arms around his Mother, & Vividha holding onto Atharva for dear life. It was a picture perfect scene, wasn't it? I wish the screen would just freeze then.
And again, he gets taken down again, but guess what? Atharva hasn't given up just yet. His veins pulsed, his face shook, & the sheer anger took over, & that became more amplified when they dared to hurt his mother. God, Sujata, the way they treated her today! It was horrible!
And do you know what part I admired the most? When Sujata screamed after Vividha when KK was taking her away, despite Atharva's sorry state, she begged him to see that his 'wife' is being taken away from him. He opens his eyes, & he reaches out all bloody & half-broken.
It was such a heartbreaking moment when KK pushes Sujata & she falls back beside her son, looking up at Vividha with so much hopelessness.
I wish they had shown Vivs maybe biting KK on the arm, or shoving him to the side really, really hard, but oh well, I'm not too bothered about that.
Shivani's expressions were so poignant, weren't they! Her expressions hit me really hard in the heart, it was agonising, & down-right earth-shattering watching with her own eyes her 'husband' get beaten to death mercilessly. It was killing her inside as she pleaded to her father to leave him be, but her tears did nothing to melt KK's heart, in fact, the sadistic beast took pleasure from it!
And when KK finally says they won't stop till he's dead, her face just fell completely. The life just went from her face.
I've posted it earlier, but that dialogue in the precap is one I'll always remember!
She doesn't care anymore, be it her getting married in a jungle with a plant was it? (my Hindi is not so great) or a dog, it no longer means anything to her, Atharva's life is top priority & she'll do anything, even sacrifice her happiness, her life, her soul, her heart, to save a life that matters more than her own.
I know it's probably far-fetched, but I really do wish to see Vividha grab Atharva beaded bracelet thingy & put it back together & wear it herself as if a part of Atharva is with her, but anyway, it's unlikely I think!
From now, whatever happens to Atharva, Vividha will wait for him, he'll be back, & they will fight back against all the odds, against the evil inflicted upon them in the past, & get their own back-united! They will get their revenge, this will only just make their determination stronger, trust me!
More heartbreak tomorrow, but we can do this guys!
