19th April Update

Time for vidai... Chatori Bhatori had some funny chit chats with the guys - jai, kuber, bali and awadh. There was joote chupane waali ceremony followed by giving neg to chatori and bhatori.. and then chahi and choti mami take jamunia along as its was the time for vidai..

It was the longest sasural walk that I had ever seen after a wedding. Jai and Jamunia and sasural party walked for atleast 1/2 mile past the sidewalk and the garden before they entered the house😆 All those priests doing poojas as they were walking, too funny. Gajraj made sure that no evil will come to his family. But despite all this horoscope reading and poojas, there is still something evil waiting for the newlyweds

Jai-Jamu car scene was so nice. Jai assuring Jamu and wiping away her tears was just so sweet.

Mama as always making a scene as Jamu was leaving. Everybody was so fake wishing goodbye to Jamu, acting like they will miss her! Chachi was the only honest one in the whole bunch. Stupid choti Mami reminded Jamu of the promise she made to give money for Chatori.

Sita, I agree! Chatori and Bhatori fighting is hilarious. Today Awadh was enjoying and having fun at their expense😆

Same with Mami and C. Mami fighting over money and who deserves the things sent from the haveli.

Now more about Padma and Kuber will be shown. Kuber will try to cheat on the accounts and take some money to his family.

Glad to see another fan of catfights - something I've rooted for since the Ramayan 😆

These sisters are total ditzes - Bato & Chato. Awadh tells them that he was testing their love for him, and they both fall for it - again? And tricks them into returning his shoes? He should have thrown Jai's shoes into the mix as well, so that they didn't get Rs3000.

And the entire family's fake crying - it would have been funny if it didn't leave a completely clueless Jamu in tears in the car, when she should have been overjoyed. Bodhan's tears were genuine though - when the barat was gone, he was still crying, and Ramlali told him that the need for the nautanki was over. He kept crying that he had lost his golden goose. He's right - who is he going to throw in front of cars from now on?

Mallika is right - this was one of the longest grihaprevesh walks - almost like a plane taking off 😆 And the alta that was used for Jamu's footprints looked so crimson deep, it seemed as though she was leaving footprints of blood every time she walked - it was eerie. Incidentally, this part of the ceremony only has to be done once. Here, Jamu walked down that white runaway (for want of a better term), and then dipped her feet in the alta again. That one was somewhat surprising.

Precap for tomorrow - the diya in front of the head priestess goes off, and she collapses. I just hope she lives, and if she doesn't, then I hope that Gajraj doesn't hold Jamu as ashubh for this event.

Exit question: if they are introducing Adesh & others, does this mean that Bodhan and his group leave the show? Actually, I wouldn't mind if that happened - just have Jamu w/ a totally new set of characters, and run things from there. But cover it in more detail - as it is, it takes some time to follow the dialect, so it would help if more were to be explained.

Better if Bodhan and his group leave the show leave the show.. we hav had too much of them.. havelli needs to be explored more....
