On one level I can understand what the CVs have been trying to do. It is a ploy to entice Shabnam, and for Raghu to gain Shabnam's trust so that she sees him as an individual and unrelated to Sid's history. To this extent I understand. But what I can't fathom is why the CVs have felt the need to go overboard with the amount of intimacy shown between Raghu (Sid) and Shabnam.
I think they have been in close proximity more than what the loyal fan can digest. It's unwise of the writers to test the tolerance level of the viewers. I'm a soap junkie and know for a fact that if there's one thing the fans hate, it's intimacy between leads and vamps or villains. Even goody goody third wheel characters are never embraced.
JR writers need to uphold the sanctity of SidNi. Overdose of Shabnam with a Sid in disguise undermines the love between Sid and Roshni. It is very important for the writers to keep their love sacred, a love that they have themselves given life to, hence should be respected by them.
My bone to pick is with the writers, I don't blame the actors involved because obviously they are working according to the script given to them. And note I have not mentioned actors names, but referred to characters alone because my emotional attachment is with SidNi. The distinction between Real and reel is clearly defined for me.
