As per the segments seeing that he has given Roshni his lucky necklace does make it seem that something serious might happen to Sid. Maybe from saving someone else he gets in the way of it and gets hurt. I don't think he will be shown dead that would mean Ravi is out of JR and he did state he is not leaving JR. So I think it might be that he is either shown critically injured and in the ICU. Or is shown slipped into a coma or he is shown missing/kidnapped. Something like that would only let Ravi take his days off for his movie or his reality show. Whatever it is we are about to get some major drama coming our way...
