SidNi OS Books Play Cupid
"I hate maths ,so boring and useless." Siddharth said and Roshni hit him with a book making him jump from the chair.
"Kya Roshni let me sleep na? I don't want to study this dhai kilo ki book " he said weighing it in his hands and then a crazy idea crossed his mind.
"But I can study another dahi kilo ki thing ,U!" he whispered in her ears as he came to stand behind her chair.
"Shut up you romantic hero. We will flunk in the test ,I am stressed!" she said patting her head and massaging it.
He held her hands and started patting her head to ease her tension ,he couldn't see his best-friend in tension ever.
She smiled at his care and got so relaxed after his hands oozed out her fears. She stiffened as she made herself remember her own resolution.
"I am sorry Sid but can we mantain a distance?" she asked repeating the words of that day and he immediately left her.
He was hurt everytime she ran away from him ,she had turned down his proposal 2 months ago but he had promised her to be her best friend that he used to be.
"I know you feel uncomfortable when I come close Rosh. I am so sorry ,I did not mean to impose myself!" he replied and she was angry all of a sudden.
"You idiot ,I can never be uncomfy with you." she said pushing him and he was half-bent on the table with she still pushing him.
She lost her balance as her heels broke and she tilted over him. He held her by her waist and she was now over him.
They both got lost in the other's orbs and the depth of love they saw. Sid tucked her strand of hair carefully and she closed her eyes in contentment.
He realised she was lost and this was the best time to make her confess what her heart wants. So he leaned closer and decided to cross the limits he had set for once.
"Roshni don't you love me? Why can't you love me??" he asked his hurt coming out ,his vulnerability evident in his eyes.
"I love you Sid ,I really do but.." she started but realized what she was going to blurt out and straightened herself up.
"I'll go and get the reference book from the shelf." said Roshni consciously and went behind the rack of library to hide herself.
He was now super angry ,she loved him but wasn't confessing due to a reason. He marched to the shelf where she was standing.
She was fidgeting with the books when he held the book she held and threw it on the floor with a bang. She was scared and looked at him in shock.
"What the hell Sid? We came at night here to study not to discuss our personal lives." she said trying to handle the matter that looked out of reach now.
"Oh please what do you mean? You love me but?" he questioned her on the words she had spoken earlier.
She kept a poker face and showed no emotion ,let no emotion cross her face ,but he had had enough! He picked her up in his arms as she kicked her legs in air.
"Keep me down Sid ,what is your problem? Where are you taking me?" she asked stunned by his act.
He was in no mood to listen to her rantings so he replied ,"To the librarian!" he said sarcastically and she pinched him hard.
"Oww you.." he said putting her back on ground. She smiled at her achievement and he pulled her closer by her waist.
"You think you are smart? Fine let's see how much your smartness works in kissing me!" he leaned into her and her eyes opened too large.
"You won't force me ever." she said slowly and he left her at once and keeping his hands on his waist asked her smirking.
"Why do you trust me so much? And please tell the truth this time Roshni or else you see what I will do." he said in a dejected tone.
She finally decided to give in and said ,"Yes I love you but your mom hates me." she confessed and he was left standing his shock.
"You stupid stupid girl." he poked her head and said ,"You have brains? I don't give a shit what she thinks. I love you and you love me!"
She smiled at him and was happy he chose her before his mother ,she was scared of her heart breaking if he chose his mother.
"I am sorry for hurting you Siddharth!" she replied and he gathered in a hug. They both felt complete after a long time and the past didn't matter anymore.
"Kya ab hum padh sakte hain Siddharth flirty Khurrana?" asked Roshni still in the hug and not wanting to leave him.
"No na abhi toh mili ho yaar let me live in this moment." said Siddharth kissing her forehead and she smiled at his presence.
"Waise you know , we were better as best friends I hear girlfriends ke bahut natak hote hain." he said trying to irritate her.
"What do you mean girlfriends? Kitni bana chuke ho ab tak?" she asked hitting him and punching him on his stomach.
"Arre yaar what is this meri toh ek hi hone wali hai life-long." he said smiling at her when she showed him a not-interested face.
"So filmy." she reprimanded and he guffawed in laughter. "Books do play nice cupid!" he stated and she shouted loudly.
He kept his hands on his ears to prevent him from loosing his hearing power. She removed his hands and shouted ,"You threw the cupid on the floor."
He got reminded about the book he had just thrown and they both roared in laughter clutching their stomachs. They held hands and set the book back at its place.
"I guess maths is not that bad! It solved our equation after all." he said winking at her while she side-hugged him.
