CHAPTER EIGHT : Hasi

"He is resting, anyone of you can meet him but make sure you don't stress him." The doctor announced and left.

Main jaan ye vaar doon

Har jeet bhi haar doon

Keemat ho koi tujhe beinteha pyaar doon

Roshni starts singing seeing him resting and a smile appears on his face which soon spreads on her own face. She goes close to his sleeping form on the bed.

Saari hadein maine meri, ab maine tod di

Dekar mujhe pataa awaargi ban gaye

She sings sweetly and the softness of her voice leaves siddharth at peace. He takes a turn and unknowingly touches her hand.

Haan hasi ban gaye

Haan nami ban gaye

Tum mere aasmaan

Meri zameen ban gaye

She intertwines their hands and places a kiss on his hand. A tear escapes her eye seeing him battling for his life. She saw his face concocting and a frown replacing the smile.

Aa o... aa...

Kya khoob Rab ne kiya

Bin maange itna diya

Warna hai milta kahaan

Hum kaafiron ko Khuda

She got up as the nurse came in to attend to him. She saw him lying on the bed unconscious and had a sudden urge to console him.

Hasratein ab meri tumse hai jaa mili

Tum duaa ab meri aakhiri ban gaye

She ran to him and hugged him tight. She cried keeping her head on his shoulder and on a reflex he wrapped an arm around her.

Haan hasi ban gaye

Haan nami ban gaye

Tum mere aasmaan

Meri zameen ban gaye

The nurse asked her to leave and she unwantingly left his hand. She would never leave him alone even if he pushed her away.

"Oh no roshni ma'am please don't cry." Sam said hugging her and giving her a shoulder to cry on. Roshni vented all her feelings to sam.

"He will be okay na?" roshni asked scared all of a sudden. She loved him and wanted to fight for him but she needed and assurance.

"Ofcourse he will be. My best-friend has fallen in love for the first time and for a record I know one thing." Yash came jumping in.

"And what would that be?" asked roshni feeling yash knew something.

"That you never leave anyone you trap!" he said laughing aloud and sam joined in the laughter.

After sometime the three of them were laughing like crazy and the hospital staff had to mellow them down.

"Btw I feel sad for Siddharth , he had to hear your boring song." said yash and roshni gave him a fake glare.

"Excuse me, he was smiling hearing me sing. He loves my voice" said Roshni proudly and sam nudged her making her blush.

"Obviously he has no choice but to love you ma'am but you are blushing." She teased her further and roshni tried hiding her face.

"I'll just be back guys." Yash said and excused himself, he was happy for roshni but he had to deal with his heart-break.

"Sir yash sir!!" he heard sam's voice calling him. He turned around but she bumped into him.

"Oh I am sorry sir. Actually I know you like Roshni ma'am, it will not be easy to deal with it but I am happy you are letting it go for her happiness." Said Sam in a jiffy.

"Thanks for understanding Sam but you are concerned for me?" asked Yash smiling a bit and feeling happy to see someone cares.

"Ofcourse sir, your happiness matters to me!" said sam smiling and bit her lip realizing what she just said.

She started leaving embarrassed when yash said,"From today even your happiness matters to me Sam."

She went away smiling and he was suddenly feeling light talking to her.

"Guess who is back to rock your life??" Rajveer stood at the hospital gate and the next moment he saw a beautiful girl.

"Hello may I know Siddharth khuraana's room no. please?" he asked his eyes still on the girl.

"Yes sir the room on the left from here." the receptionist said and he nodded.

"Excuse me doctor I am Sid's brother." he said and roshni examined him. She felt happy seeing someone from his family was there.

"Okay so may I handover the case details to you in that case?" the doctor asked making roshni fume in anger.

"SHUT UP!!" she shouted and the doctor was taken aback.

"Excuse me, we don't tolerate such behavior in a hospital." The doctor countered when rajveer came to the rescue.

"It's ok sir. I guess she is close to Sid, she can take care of the reports. I don't mind." he said settling the matter.

"You really are a scary girl but not to forget extremely beautiful too." said Rajveer putting his hand forward for a handshake.

"Thank you and I am sorry I was just..." she started defending herself when he completed for her.

"Concerned??" he asked smiling politely and she nodded. "You seem close to him. Girl-friend?"

"I wish." She said and he started laughing and said, "No wonder all girls go la-la on him but our Prince Sid won't budge."

"No he loves me too. He is just not accepting coz of his condition." Said Roshni and rajveer nodded knowingly.

"I can understand, he left home because he didn't want to trouble us too." Rajveer said sadly.

"It's ok we will make him the old Sid again." Said Roshni comforting rajveer.

Oh ya seeing me he will surely become old Sid.'Rajveer thought evily smirking as a plan cooked up in his mind.

"Which one of you is Roshni?" the nurse came outside looking tense and Roshni came forward panicking herself.

"Please come fast, he has been taking your name." said the nurse and roshni rushed in to see what was wrong.

IN HOSPITAL ROOM

"Rooo...sss...hhh...nnn...iii!" siddharth's slow voice reached her ears and she immediately went close to him.

"Go a...aawwaa..yyy!!" his voice came and she realized he was still unconscious but was pushing her away.

"You go I'll handle him please." Roshni said to the nurse and as soon as she left she started trying to calm him down.

"Siddharth baby. All is fine, see I won't leave you now." She said stubbornly making a baby face and the next moment she felt blood on the floor and on her dress.

"Oh my god." She said as she saw siddharth spluttering blood in his unconscious state too. She rushed to call in the doctor and became extremely worried for him.

"He's okay. No need to worry! I guess he is gaining consciousness, you can talk." He said and left.

She put a hand on his head and made him sit carefully. He was too dazed to notice who was helping him out.

"Thank you so much. Is roshni gone?" he asked in a low voice. She shook her head seeing him talk about her.

"No sir she is very much available for your service." Roshni mocked him and he immediately looked up to see her wonderful face in front of him.

"You..." he started but she silenced him with a finger on his lips. "No no sir, the patient is not allowed to talk." She said.

"I will talk and you will answer, you get that?" she asked and he motioned to his mouth which was shut by her fingers.

She asked WHAT' through her eyes and he pointed to his mouth. She smirked and asked him to answer through his eyes only. All this while she was making cute faces which was making it difficult for him to resist.

He nodded his head as a signal that he would answer her questions and she became excited. He sat waiting for her to question him on his disappearance.

"Do you want a kiss sir?" she asked startling him and his eyes went as wide as saucers. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

He had imagined her to interrogate him, to accuse him but she was here asking if he wanted a kiss.

He looked sideways making his answer clear to her and she left her fingers that were adoring his mouth at once.

How do I tell you that I need your kiss Roshni, to live.' he thought cursing his luck.

"But I want it." She said shocking him again. She came closer to him and his breath hitched in his throat.
