Sid has done a lot of things in the past that might have been dumb or illogical to his character. But one thing that has remained the same is that he is never the one to give up. From day one he never gave up on his relationship with Roshni or with anyone else.
Before his truth came out, DD was adamant to keep SidNi apart, but Sid did not give up. He worked
towards building a relationship with DD, repariring the mother daughter duo and keeping Roshni in his life.
Then his truth came out and Roshni and the rest of the Patels were furious at him. They (DD-Roshni) were unwilling to forgive him. However, Sid refused to give up. He kept going to Roshni to explain himself. She leaves him and for 6 months he searches for her to get her to forgive him and come back to him. He refuses to give up on her and their relationship.
Roshni and Yash's marriage is fixed, but Sid refuses to believe that Roshni is willingly marrying Yash. He is at the wedding to win back Roshni and challenges all that he will marry Roshni again. Which he does, but Roshni is still with her mom.
DD decides to take Roshni away from there so she could spend more time with Yash and forget about Sid. Sid finds out and refuses to let that happen. With the help of Raj, they are able to take Yash out of the picture and give Sid and Roshni sometime to deal with everything. They are back together and have forgiven themselves.
Roshni is shown a video made by RV to make it seem like Sid rapes her so she will forgive him. She accuses Sid of using her and they are then separated. However, the judge refuses to give them the divorce at the time and gives them 3 months to sort things out. SidNi are not happy about it. Sid hurt by Roshni's accusation is for the first time shown to have become a rock. Nothing affects him. He treats Roshni harshly but at the same time is shown caring for. He indirectly has nt given up on her. Beeji comes into the picture and slowly Roshni becomes aware of the meaning of relationships.
Things between SidNi become a bit better. Neither of them are shown unable to see the other in trouble. Sid had not necessarily given up on her instead had been hurt too much and did not know how to handle things. Roshni comes across Sid's letters and falls in love with him again realizing the depth of love Sid has for her.
Sam being trouble because of RV, brought SidNi together more and made DD trust Sid again. He helped her family regardless of the state of their relationship. He refused to stay away when they were in such a crisis. He did not just give up and let them deal with it alone. He even got YaSam married.
RV's truth revelation had brought SidNi together. But only to later bring divorce into it because of KriSIm. However, even the divorce did not make Sid stay away from Roshni. He helped her and her family by bringing Shiv into the picture. He brought Roshni's parents together even though he had divorced Roshni in order for DD to get everything back.
And now after Shiv is dead, DD tells Sid to stay away and to not help them with their crisis. He refuses. As seen in the precap, he is at the hospital to find out information about Shiv's death. Sid is unwillingly to stay away when he knows his Roshni and the rest of them needs him now more than ever. He has no worries about what Misha or anyone thinks. He loves Roshni hence everyone that is important to Roshni.
No matter in what situation or in what circumstances. Sid is shown to always be by Roshni's side. Even if he is angry at her or is hurt by her. Even if he is told multiple times to stay away he keeps coming back. He refuses to give up on those that means the world to him. His own family and Roshni's family; including Roshni.
When he is asked to leave in today's episode, he refused. He had no interest in leaving DD and Roshni in the state that they were in. Now we will see how deeply Sid cares for them and how much he investigates the death of Shiv.
Our Sid will not give up on his relationship with Roshni...He will fight and will come to hopefully know that Misha is not who they think she is. She is the one behind all the havoc and distress in Roshni's life. And Sid does not spare those that brings distress in Roshni's and her family's life. Misha will have to answer to Sid soon...
Sid's ability to never give up is something I personally admire and is something that has not changed throughout the show. Yes he was angry on Roshni for a good amount of time but he still saved her and protected her in times when she needed it. He did divorce her unwillingly, but he still stood by her side and helped get Shiv back into their lives. And now he did get engaged to Misha per Roshni's request but he will still stand by them in their time of need and find out about Shiv's murder.
