This was back then when the promos of Jamai Raja hit our TV screen and we all were excited as it was a complete different concept. The thing which attracted the fans was the unique concept of Jamai taking the responsibility of fulfilling the duties of his in-laws. So this is to the makers and producers of Jamai Raja who is in the race of spoiling one of the most unique shows. The show started with a complete different concept which we had never seen before on TV, for those who don't know there is a short brief summary of the show below which is lost now:

Forever, you've seen bahu's on Indian television step into the sasural and set everything right amongst the sparring members of their new family... we have been constantly brainwashed into looking at the lady of the house as the soothing salve meant to heal wounds and bind people together...Zee TV's new show 'Jamai Raja' breaks the convention and asks - If women have done it all along, why can't the men? The show, in fact, has its male protagonist take on this domain, forever relegated to women, and embark on a journey of setting the discord between his wife and mother-in-law right after marriage! Jamai Raja is the story of Siddharth, who despite being a jet-setting hotelier with a growing empire to tend to, takes it upon himself to repair the estranged relationship between his wife Roshni and mother-in law Durga Devi (DD). While DD has seen the trials and tribulations of poverty and struggled her way up to riches, she has hardened over the years and developed a somewhat condescending view of the middle class. She has no tolerance for laziness and mediocrity. An enterprising jewellery magnate, she is constantly on the move, has a razor sharp mind and a tongue to match. Daughter Roshni, on the other hand, has a rebellious streak. With an independent mind of her own, she isn't about to treat DD's ideologies as the Gospel truth. Born in the lap of luxury, she hasn't let her riches spoil her silly. She, in fact, feels strongly for the underprivileged and actively works for their welfare through an NGO she runs. With such strong, opposite personalities under a roof, sparks are bound to fly. Clearly, our Jamai has quite a task on his hands.

The show really offered us some amazing tracks, infact the tracks which we have all seen before but the way Jamai Raja Creative's presented it, it not only surprised us but made us love the show more and more as they never dragged any track and always ended it with a positive message. I would like to compliment them, for some tracks which are my favourites as well:

There was a track of Domestic Violence where DD (Durga Devi) in order to safeguard her daughter misunderstands the situation and files a complaint against her daughter's (Roshni) in laws and instead of creating a thousand misunderstanding which we usually see in drama Roshni goes and explains to her mother saying you have proved all those girls wrong who actually go through this and this can spoil someone life forever. This was a social message that be it a girl or a guy false allegations can ruin someone life.

Another track which attracted fans was when Roshni was mistaken to be in the compromising position with her friend Yash and just like any other person the guests who were present there thought that she was characterless and accused her, but the only person who supported Roshni was her husband Siddharth. He created a similar situation with one of the guest and showed to the society that what our eyes see may not be the truth and instead of judging we should listen to one's justification too.

Another track was Rajveer death he was shot by DD in order to save her daughter we all were waiting for his end as he had created lot of problems for Patels and Khuranas and DD just like a true mother came and saved her daughter which showed us that women is not weak, if she decides she can fight the world to protect her child and DD has been one of the most strong character who represents women empowerment.

Coming to the present track going on in Jamai Raja which is hated by everyone, is basically a psycho lover who wants Siddharth at any cost. She plans her own sexual assault and in the process of her madness kills Roshni's father Shiv Patel. This track has really come as a shocker to all the fans because this is not the show we love who always respected women but today they have insulted all those victims who face such situation and worst is just to give importance to one character they have shown everyone falling for Misha's trap and no one is using their brain especially Roshni who is forcing her own husband to marry a psycho lover because she feels guilty that Siddharth could not protect Misha from those goons and saved her instead. In that guilt she is taking all the torture from Misha. Well a psycho person is sent to the hospital for treatment and marriage is not a solution for her well-being.

Jamai Raja was a show which was more practical than any other run of a mill show even after constantly nagging the makers, producers and writers to end Misha track we have not got any response. Why are they hell bent on ruining one the most unique show? Is it important for every TV drama to show a woman weak and a doormat, who falls for any trap and cannot fight for herself?

We really hope the producers get up before it's too late and lose the audience.
