Part 3Roshni opened her eyes to see Sid holding her tightly as he slept, she could not believe that he was hers once more, he was looking so peaceful, so at ease...as if all his troubles were gone as he had her in his arms...that was a good feeling to feel she thought, as to think in the past she felt in loved but now she has this wonderful person whom would even give up his life for her to be happy and soon she will have someone else to love her unconditional
Her little special someone who she has inside her, that is the greatest gift he could have ever given her and now she felt complete..
She looked at the clock by her bed side and saw it was 1 am...sleep wasn't about to come back to her so soon, so she decided to go to the kitchen and make some hot tea. As she got out of bed she notice a shadow coming from outside of the room, she thought of waking Siddharth but it has been so many days since he must have had a proper rest...so she decided to take a look...she quickly slipped on her robe and slippers and opened the light, she saw no one but darkness...she looked up and down the hall and noticed nothing...so she thought it was all in her head...
Roshni then headed for the kicthen, but she could not shake the feeling as if someone was following her, she turned around quickly even surprising herself, but she saw nothing...again she said her mind must be playing tricks on her...
She finally made it to the kitchen where she put on the kettle on the stove while she bent down to collect a cup from the cupboard...as she shut the door she saw the stove had been turned off, she was a little taken aback as she thought she had turned on the stove so how can it be off...She went again and light the stove and as she turned towards the refrigerator so saw blood leaking from inside...this shocked her as there was so much blood coming from the fridge, she took up the courage to see what was causing the blood and as she open the door she say a dead rat lying with I knife stuck in his neck...she began to freak out running to the bedroom to alert Siddharth...
"SIddharth, Siddharth" she said in the most scared tone ever..."The fridge ,it is in the fridge
He got up and went to her, she was cold.."Roshni what , what is wrong with the fridge" he said holding her face trying to calm her down
"Please go and see" she said still crying
Siddharth and Roshni went back to the kitchen where he switched on the lights and saw the kettle was boiling the water and it was running over, he quickly turned it off and went towards the fridge holding Roshni hands keeping her behind him...as he opened the door and looked in side he say that the strawberry sauce bottle was leaning and some had splurted all over
He began laughing..."Oh Roshni is this what you woke me up for" and she looked and saw the bottle
"How , where did it go, I know what I saw , I know what was there Siddharth it was a rat" she.said.now.confused
"Roshni please calm down, maybe but the lack of.sleep you saw.the.bottle and thought of.it.as a rat, remember the doctor said that you took your father's death.pretty harsh, don't worry.about it babe, it is just a bottle" he said trying to reassure her
But she was adamant.."I know what I saw Siddharth, it was a rat..why don't you believe me" she said as she looked once more at the fridge and then went back into the bedroom
"Roshni, please don't be mad, try to understand where I am coming from, you saw a rat and I saw a.bottle...no one else is in this house...Please don't be mad" he said making the most saddest puppy face ever which melted her anger the moment she saw his face...
"When you make that face, I can't stay mad at you" she said now smiling a little
"I know you can't that is why it is my secret weapon, to tame your anger, in other terms I can control you" he said
"Oh really am I some toy that you can control me" she said now getting worked up
"I am sorry no you aren't some toy, you are my precious teddy bear whom I love to just hold and cuddle" he said in his cute voice
"Oh really well why aren't you cuddling me then" she said smiling at.him
And from her line he got into.bed.with her and held her in his arms, "I love you Roshni, I love you so much" he said as he kissed her neck and then closed his eyes...
Exiting the apartment was Misha is a black hoodie holding a dead rat and a knife..."Oh Roshni you took.what was.mine.and now I will make him leave you and.come.back to me" she.said laughing in a hysterical manner
