What a powerful episode. SidNi does get a divorce officially. Sid for once did not look at Roshni at the court.
So Simran does not reinforce Sid to go along with the plan and make him divorce Roshni. He saw how what his mom had done to his sasu mom, had completely ruined her. He could not see DD in that state. Situations had forced Sid to take this drastic step.
I loved how he told Simran off today. She seriously thought Sid was doing this happily and for her and Kritika. He did this for his sasural, who he truly loves and cares about. Who he knows are not at fault. He puts his love and life on the line for DD and the Patels. He gave everything up for them. Simran is an idiot. I can never understand the character. She still could not sense that Sid was hurting and that he hates himself for having to do what he has to do because of his mom. If Simran understood Sid's feelings then she would not have given him that option to divorce Roshni. She would have given DD her property back regardless. I felt Sid basically said that you are not my mother indirectly to Simran.
From the moment Simran had outed Sid as a Khurana and took over everything that was once DD's, Sid had suffered so much. Roshni leaving him, not knowing where Roshni was, Roshni almost marrying Yash, Roshni thinking he raped her, and now this. There is no stop to SId's pain. He will be constantly hurting all because of RV and now who has left it Simran and Kritika to ruin Sid's life.
Precap- Wow!! Raj slapped Sid. I do believe that Raj will realize that Sid had no intention to divorce Roshni or push her away. Raj will soon reaiize that Simran had something to with it. Raj will then be pissed. Simran will lose everything soon enough. I have no idea though how Sid gets involved with Roshni's dad.
Once DD gets everything back. That is when I feel DD, Roshni, Raj, Nani, and Beeji might realize that Sid must have done something. Raj will realize that Simran had something to with it as he is the one that knows that Simran had the power over the property. Sid not consulting her about it will anger Roshni big time. I do not know if SidNi will get passed all this or not.
Her tearing the papers will nullify the divorce, won't it? I am not all that aware of law and that too Indian law. Would they still be divorced? If so, would they be allowed to re-marry. I know in Islam there is a law where if you get divorced then you are unable to re-marry that same person until you marry someone else. That is done basically to make sure no one actually divorces each other. Even though most people I feel might not agree or follow it. I do not know what the hindu religion says about divorce and re-marrying that person.
For the sake of the show, I would want the divorce to nullified. Not because she tears the papers, but because I want the court to realize that Sid was blackmailed and forced to divorce Roshni or else DD would not have been able to get her property and business back. Then Simran could be liable for fraud and blackmail.
