PART 8After one hour roshni met mark outside the office and just then Siddhart too reached there 'Good Afternoon sir..' mark greeted 'Afternoon to u too' siddhart replied politely surprising mark while roshni didn't reacted much 'uhh sir i and roshni will take a cab..will see you at the hotel' mark said 'let's go' roshni asked mark 'yeah' he agreed
'wait..' siddhart called out as mark and roshni turned to go 'you guyz can join me, i mean i will be driving and you can come with me, i won't mind moreover you guyz can explain me about the presentation...hope you guyz have no issue' siddhart suggested, mark smiled 'no sir, why will we have any issue, it sounds perfect...right rosh?' asked mark to roshni, she gave him a fake smile 'ofcourse ...let's leave we are getting late' 'yeah...'
With mark seating in the front along with siddhart and roshni in the back, siddhart started his suv and was listening to the explanation mark gave to him while roshni too concentrated on what mark was saying as she had missed some points in a rush 'wow great...this project will rock...well done, you two' siddhart said very much satisfied with the presentation mark prepared 'thank you SK sir' roshni said not wanting mark to comment on her weird behaviour
They were just a little away from there destination when mark got a call from his wife 'Hello...What...No Elsa just manage everything until i reach at the hospital...yeah i will be there asap' he disconnected the call, panic was written all over his face as he clutched his hairs with tension 'mark...what happened, what's the matter...' roshni asked placing her hand on his shoulder
'Dad he got fainted a while back, elsa took him to the hospital, i don't know what to do rosh, our meeting...' he explained confused 'don't think much you crazy guy,just go back to your Dad, i will make sure that meeting will be perfect...sir please stop the car...' roshni said with finality, and siddhart finding the situation understandable followed what roshni said and stopped the car...
After taking a few minutes which followed a very well debate from roshni finally mark took a cab to go back while roshni sat inside the car at the backseat...siddhart sat there like that starring at her through back mirror playing with the steering, roshni who was trying to avoid looking at him finally looked at him through back mirror and raised her eyebrow signaling him to drive 'for your information Miss.Roshni, here i am your boss and not a stranger or driver...so will you please come and sit in front' 'no' 'just do as i say otherwise you can loose your job if we missed this deal' roshni glared at him while he had a hard time hiding his smirk
She came out and sat in the front 'good employee...i love such dedicating and beautiful employees a lot' he winked while she just fisted her hand to keep herself calm and took a deep needed breath...siddhart ignited the engine and drove away

They reached at the hotel where meeting will take place, after a formal greeting and introduction everyone made there way towards the meeting room, as the other companies presented there idea roshni too prepared herself for her turn...finally she was called and then forgetting everyone around she just set her eyes on her goal and with full confident presented her idea and as expected RSK group of complanies grabbed the deal...
Happy with the success roshni called mark and gave him the good news, and also got to know about his father being fine and sighed in relief...after a little conversation roshni requested siddhart to leave as it's getting late...he agreed and bid good bye to all...siddhart drove for fifteen minutes when his eyes landed on a restaurant in his way...he stopped the car and got out of it while roshni just kept giving him a confuse 'look i think you had evolved into an alien but i am still a human being and i do get hungry so will you please come with me because i am a responsible boss and can't leave my employee alone' he asked signaling her to come, she gritted her teeth as she came out and followed him
Inside
'sir your order please...' 'ohh yeah sure' and he gave his order 'what about you mam...?' waiter asked roshni politely 'umm one black and bitter coffee please' she said 'sure mam' waiter started to leave when siddhart called out 'wait...please bring latest Chinese dish for her' he said, waiter nodded and left 'ex-cuse me, what the hell is this Siddhart ...?' she asked angry on his interference in her matters 'what? If you think i did it for you or to impress you then relax Miss.Roshni...the thing is that our way back home is really long one and i don't want you to get faint due to weakness, i am not at all interested for getting blamed for your condition...and yeah one more thing, it's SK sir, incase you forgot that i am the boss' he reminded
Roshni who was constantly shooting glares at him look away and mumbled a sorry for loosing her control and forgetting his post and status... There dinner arrived and they had it silently with siddhart stealing glances of her again and again and she just looking down and having it
Waiter came with the bill, siddhart took out his card when roshni interrupted 'wait a minute sir, incase you forget i am an independent woman and can my expenses so let me pay my bill' she spoke coldly, siddhart face palmed himself 'great siddhart beta...see your trick on yourself...what a return it is...' he mumbled to himself as he signaled her to go on with a fake smile on his lips, she just rolled her eyes over his antics and payed her bill...siddhart too then payed his bill 'shall we?' he asked while she just walked away...
They again started there way back, siddhart drove for another half an hour, the drive filled with awkward and unnecessary silence...roshni was silently praying to reach home asap...while siddhart wanting the time to stop here, he wanted to feel her deeply, he wanted to be with her badly and may be, it was siddhart's day today when siddhart stopped with a jerk as a barrier came in his way which he due to darkness noticed on last moment, roshni was shaken badly 'roshni...are you ohkay? I hope you aren't hurt' he asked concern helping her sit back properly
She just nodded weakly not uttering a word, just after that confirming about her when siddhart looked ahead he found so much urgenccy in front of her with a so many police officers covering the area ahead 'excuse me...Inspecting what's the matter...?' siddhart called out to one of the officer 'sir there is a landslide in that area...situation is a bit worst and we have no idea when it will be fine...' he explained 'what? How will i go home then?' she asked sounding all upset 'no idea mam, going ahead is not an option at least for now...you guyz can do one thing...'
'and what's that?' siddhart asked 'sir just turn your route and go to left, and after 10 minutes drive you will get a hotel there...spend your night there and then leave when situation is under control ' 'umm thank you inspector...' siddhart shook his hand with the inspector 'it's my duty sir...' 'yes of course...'
AS instructed by inspector they took that route and after a drive of 10-12 minutes they found the hotel as said by inspector, they both went inside only to find the lobby crowded as if whole Manchester is here only 'excuse me' siddhart called out to the receptionist who was busy talking to some other guest 'yes sir...' she answered quickly 'is there any room available?' 'actually sir due to landslide we have so many guest tonight, i can't be sure let me check first' she excused and busied herself in her computer
'actually sir, there is only one room available...' 'ohh ohkay, book it at the name of Mr and Mrs.Khurana please ' 'ofcourse sir, give me a moment ' she completed all the details and gave him the keys 'thank you' he said and walked away with roshni silently following him and as soon as they reached there room, they went inside and that was it 'what the hell was that?' roshni asked very much angry 'what?' he asked 'what did you said to the receptionist? Why did you lied to her...instead of this nonsense it was better if i had slept in the lobby?' she said
'for your information i said truth only, we are husband and wife and thus we can live in a room together..' he said calmly 'no we are not' she opposed 'we were but now we are divorced' she added 'we never were divorced roshni...i never submitted those papers in court...you are still my wife, you are still Mrs.Siddhart Khurana, you still belongs to me and i will make sure that you belong to me only until my last breath' he said with determination and went to the washroom leaving roshni alone to accept the reality
