though they are wrong on all levels... they are kinda of right...Yes Yash is a mental patient because he feels Roshni loves him...but he is her friend and is concern for her...so when Kritika told him the lie about domestic violence he thought was true because he for one does not know that Kritika is a lying snake...hence he being concern for his friend...and why did he not just go to Roshni...because he felt she will deny it because she wants to three months to be over with fast...so he feels she is keeping it to herself...As of DD she and all jumped to the wrong conclusion because she is a concern mother she feels Roshni does not want to tell her because Roshni do not want to add more troubles to her...So this is the valid reason for them but instead of being sneaky and trying to save her they should have gone and confront the Khurana and then everyone would have known Kritika is the idiot...well Simran would not have believe but at least Sid and Roshni would be aware that she still is a snake...
