Nia Sharma is an Indian television actress.Nia Sharma was born on 17 September 1991 in Delhi. She did her graduation in Mass Communication from JIMS Rohini. Her real name is Neha Sharma but she changed as she found it common and even her father doesn't know that. Nia bagged much fame and name with her role as Maanvi opposite Kushal Tandon in the Star plus show Ek Hazaroon Me Meri Behna Hai.Recently she came highest placed newcomer in Top 50 sexiest Asian Women List by Asjad Nazir of famous British newspaper Eastern Eye and overall grabbed the rank 5 in the list.

She made her television debut as Anu, the best friend of the protagonist Rachana (Swati Kapoor) in Kaali. After the death of Rachana her character took over as the lead of the show, to defeat the main antagonist and killer of Rachana, Thakral (Ashutosh Rana). Her next television appearance was as Nisha, the daughter of Jay (Akshay Anand), in Star Plus's show Behenein. She was last seen playing the role of Maanvi in the show "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai".She made her comback on the television with Zee tv's new Serial titled Jamai Raja. She was also seen in the reality show of the chanel [V]'s "The Player" with her real name Neha. After Behenein, Nia went on to portray as Maanvi, one of the protagonists in the Cinevistaas production Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. She is the first "Indian Television Actress" to go bald for her onscreen role of a cancer patient as Manvi.

Nia Sharma is the youngest child of their family. She has one elder brother. She is very close to her mother just like her best friend. Only her mother who knows that she is popularly known as Nia rather than her birth name Neha as she feels that Neha is a very common name, but officially she is still Neha.

The talented actress Nia Sharma, has been signed to play a couple in Sagar Pictures new show on Zee TV along with Ravi Dubey, titled Jamai Raja. The serial is based on a famous Bollywood movie featuring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Hema Malini with the same name. Nia is playing the role of Roshni Patel. Serial revolves around the life of a son-in-law (Ravi) and his constant efforts to repair the estranges relationship between his wife (Nia Sharma) and mother-in-law (Achint Kaur).

Roshni Patel is a modern, free spirited, fiesty, self-reliant, socially aware, kind and generous soul. However, she is at odds with her driven, and over ambitious mother. Roshni seeks love, friendship, and personal human relations. She wants to marry a middle class man and into his family to fulfill her desire for healthy family life full of genuine love and care and not the kind her mother gives her for social promotion.

Dedicated Appreciation threads (ATs) for an actor/actress/couple of the show will be subject to specific rules here onwards. These rules will apply to all current ATs in theforum and any new ATs created in the future.

The word "Appreciate" in itself means to have a highly favorable opinion of someone or something. You are supposed to appraise the value of the work of the actors and express them in positive light. A thread where all the fans of the Actor/Character/Couple gather to discuss what they liked.
In an essence Constructive criticism/Positive Outlook towards Actors/Characters/Jodi must prevail in these threads.
Members must understand discussions are restricted in ATs. ATs are safe zones for the Actor/Jodi fans to exchange information without being subject to negativity. You have the main forum to present opinions which calls for discussions and debates. All discussions related to actor's performance, looks, style and personality can be confined to ATs and keep the discussion of story tracks to a minimum, when they do not directly relate to the actor/character of this AT , in particular when they imply stating negative opinions. However we do allow minimum chatting in ATs, provided it is related to this AT alone.
Please refrain from bringing and discussing other general topics of the forum into the AT.
Please refrain from any negative/bashful/insulting comments against any actor/jodi/characters. If members of an AT are caught discussing other actors/couples negatively, then AT will be held liable for it and may be subject to warnings & eventual closure/Ban as follows.
Admins/Monitors of the AT (Those who are opening the AT will be called the Admins/Monitors) will report the troublemakers or problematic members of the AT to the DT in a timely manner, so that the AT/other genuine fans are not penalized. Here the Admins have a big responsibility and so we believe them to be totally unbiased as the whole responsibility of a AT is on them.

Lastly - When an AT reaches 150 pages, hit the report button and add this "AT reached 150 Pages", the DT will close it as we can not have two ATs open at the same time.
