ARTICLE ABOUT RAVI

Actress Sargun Mehta has been pining to get some private time with hubby Ravi Dubey for more than a week now!! The reason for this can be attributed to Ravi's busy schedule, as he tried to balance between shoot for his show Jamai Raja and his rehearsals for Zee Rishtey Awards held yesterday.

For the matter of fact, Sargun and Ravi could not see each other for a week even while staying under one roof. And finally, when the couple came face to face at the awards event, Sargun pined to meet him, but the busy actor kept her away. Work comes first for Ravi, the professional.

Oh well, this really sounds mean on part of Ravi, isn't it?

But wifey Sargun sees the positive side of all this, and says with a smile, "Aah, Ravi is a star today. He was seen everywhere at the Zee Rishtey Awards. He performed, anchored the event and was also nominated. I am so proud of him."

So take us through the rigorous schedule that Ravi had? "He used to shoot for Jamai Raja, and rush directly for his rehearsals. When he strolled home late at night, I was deep asleep and he again used to catch only few hours of sleep and get off early in the morning. So we did not see each other for a week."

So was it a picturesque moment at the Zee Rishtey Awards when you saw him? "Sigh!! We could only greet each other, as he was too busy. And he reached the after-event party very late. He entered only at about 1.30 in the night, when many of them had left the party. I was tired, and had in fact removed my heels and dropped down my hair-do. However, when he arrived, we really danced our hearts out and enjoyed some jolly good time."

What's the plan for Ravi and Sargun now? "Yes, I am now looking forward to the one day's off that Ravi will be taking on our anniversary. We head towards Goa to spend some quality time (smiles)."

Ravi and Sargun celebrate their first wedding anniversary on 7 December.
