Roshni and Simran have their sargi. Raj gives Roshni her gift, a pair of bangles, and Simran asks Sid to put it on for her. Roshni gets upset thinking about Pratima and insists that Simran puts it on for her. Roshni requests Simran to stay with her all day, but Simran says that she's got to run errands and will meet her in the evening.
DD is annoyed about how "stupid" the entire ritual of Karva Chauth is. Nani comes in and reminds her of the time when she'd keep the fast for her husband, but DD brushes her off. She tells her that she is sure that the marriage would break soon. Nani leaves the room dejectedly.
Mona realises that Roshni is upset and asks her about it, but she evades the topic. Roshni asks her about a "friend" who is having doubts on her husband, and Mona tells her to tell her "friend" to talk it out with her husband, since both the "friend" and her husband love each other a lot. Roshni makes an excuse and leaves for her NGO. Sid tries to call Roshni from work, but she brushes him off and looks for an address.
Kesar tells everyone that DD's organised a lunch party at work. Sid doesn't eat or drink anything, and people realise that he's keeping a fast for Karva Chauth. He leaves the office with Pratima, who asks him if he's keeping a fast for Roshni, to which he agrees. He apologises for the previous day, and asks her to meet him at the temple later in the evening. DD overhears this is irked thinking about his affair with Pratima.
Roshni is getting ready for Karva Chauth, and Nani and Mona appreciate her beauty. DD informs everyone that to make the festival more traditional, the Karva Chauth celebrations are moved to the temple. Roshni is skeptical of the change, and wonders what plan does DD have to ruin her day. Resham asks everyone to hurry as she's hungry.
While leaving the office, DD tells Sid about the change in venue and asks him to accompany her. He realises that DD has overheard his conversation with Pratima and resignedly follows her to the venue.
Precap: Roshni is shocked to see Pratima breaking her fast on seeing Sid's face and slaps her.
