Sid welcomes DD and Bablu to his fake house. He introduces DD to his family, and they bring him some snacks which she is creeped out by cause they are cheap. Sid's mom serves her drinks in a steel cup which she turns away. DD is suspicious about the bracelet worn by Sid's mother, as she claims that it is her design, but Sid's mother claims its from Fashion street. DD accuses Sid and his family of being gold diggers, and announces that if they need, she will send them more money but they need to stay away from Roshni. Sid gets annoyed and asks her to shut up and stop insulting his parents, as he can't tolerate that; and then asks her and Bablu to leave.

Bablu returns on the pretext of getting his phone and tells them that he knows that they're rich, as they've seen them buy the bracelet at DD's shop. He commends Sid and his family and his love for doing so much for Roshni. He asks Sid not to reveal the truth yet, so that the mother-daughter duo can improve and understand each other.

Sid goes out and challenges DD that her daughter will become his wife, and he WILL become her jamaai. She accepts the challenge. DD goes home and lies to Roshni and the family that she approves of Sid.
