Yeah, I did notice that after the edits were made to the initial post, there was a shift in focus towards health concerns regarding use of creatine supplements πŸ˜ƒ

But hey, my post was simply to negate the notion that some form of cheating was being done by Ronit Sir, and that creatine was an anabolic steroid. At the end of the day, I-F has been good to me and so I just didn't want any of the members being mislead by things that were untrue πŸ˜ƒ Of course, now that a whole series of edits have been made, it's all good πŸ‘πŸΌ

I did also notice that the post above this had a part where it said that whilst one of the three deaths had no connection to creatine, creatine killed the other two - but then it was wisely editted out πŸ˜† Of course, that was also untrue (the article does not attempt to show any such proof) and so it's good that it's gone. Similarly, the untrue stuff in the first post needed to go (and it has)... and that's why I posted. 😊

Forget aspiring body builders, I was thinking more relevent to this particular forum - I didn't want anyone reading this topic to be mislead into thinking that cheating or unfair stuff was going on πŸ˜†

I'm also glad that edits were made to the end of the initial post that suggested that wrestlers and olympic athletes were banned for creatine usage - the fact remains that no athletes have been banned from any sports for using creatine supplements πŸ˜† They can only be banned for using illegal substances - which creatine is not. πŸ˜ƒ

As for the case of those 3 that died - the way they used supplements killed them. They took creatine (which is used for weight gain) whilst at the same time they were working their guts off to lose weight. They were trying move in two opposite directions at the same time... and so it was how they used the supplements that caused the death... and even that is not confirmed to be the cause of death. It's speculation at most!

Keeping that in mind, reading that article is fine... but to use it to form the basis of any decision isn't something I'd personally recommend πŸ˜†

Things that are dangerous, they get branded as illegal really quickly. All health, government, and sporting authorities would crack down on them and slap on a ban. No international sports federations or international olympic committe have put any such ban on creatine. I have to trust that they know better than most of us here. So, case and point made - there is nothing to prove that creatine is unsafe if usage is correct!

Barry Bonds was using HGH (Human Growth Hormones) - and those are anabolic steroids. Comparing that to creatine use is kinda funny πŸ˜† One is illegal and one is legal πŸ˜ƒ

I'm sorry to say but I don't agree with the implication that all coaches and trainers don't know about what is and isn't safe. In fact, in a lot of cases, they know more about them than doctors due to supplements being closer to their line of work than for doctors. People don't become caoches and trainers by walking into a gym and wearing a coaches shirt. If they recommend something that is dangerous, then they'd get sued to death. Some experienced trainers do have more knowledge, some don't. In the cases of celeb trainers, I'm sure that over 95% of them have their clients taking supplements - but I'm sure that they are not trying to kill them πŸ˜†

As for body building forums, I would strongly recommend checking them out as well. Unlike over here where people are primerily here to talk about a dance show, over on those forums, the primery focus there is good health - many are medical proffesionals who offer advice and post medical facts (not mere speculation). Over there, things like creatine use are discussed as opposed to promoted. Whatever the case, anyone considering taking supplements will find more helpful advice and facts than over here on the YHJ forum πŸ˜†

On a final note about creatine (and any nuitricional supplement), they always have it written on the packaging that a doctor or physician should be consulted before starting on them. That's what everyone is supposed to do. If anyone doesn't do that and decides to use them in without the proper advice and information, then bad things are likely to happen 😳

God bless.

I was expecting an essay and a chapter...I wasn't disappointed. I don't have time to read it, and I am sure most readers don't either.

I will say in ten words...Edgar Allen Poe is my mentor.

Don't use creatine, it's dangerous, don't advertise or endorse creatine...

I'll say things in probably more than 10 words - but equally simple brother πŸ˜ƒ

It's easy to brand something as good or bad based on speculation... but better than that is to base things on hard facts and documented evidence. Get sound advice from proffessionals and get their opinions about what is and isn't safe, rather than an article that has nothing by way of proof (and the article was criticizing wrestling weight loss techniques combined with creatine more than anything else πŸ˜† ).

I've never head of that Edgar Poe... I'm not gonna do a search on him or her, because just like yourself, I don't have time πŸ˜†

As you mentioned that very intersting fact about yourself (the mentor thing), even I'll mention one about me - I like eating Ginger Cookies πŸ‘πŸΌ

God bless.

I dont have any prob with his taking this thingy unless until he himself and his family is not having any prob with this 😊 They know better abt his wellfare than us 😊

And abt using it in YHJ, well I guess, if it were true, then after 11 episodes, he would surely be questioned or something by channel itself....if it's nt happening, I cant say anything on it sitting thousand meteres away from Mumbai>his set 😊

So better I not to comment whether he is taking or nt 😊

Rohit gave it but i really do not think ronit uses it you could tell by his reaction on the show when they showed that he was like what the hell kind of face but i am sure show makes looked into this as well. Ronits performances are always good he has lots of energy and does lots of stunts as well so i dont think its down to drug either...but definetly good to point out side effects of the product πŸ‘

Dear Prerna,

I don't have a problems if he and his brother are using it, and according to Ronit's fans he is under his physical trainer's recommendation is taking it.

I just wish his brother Rohit didn't advertise the fact on the TV, lot of impressionable teenagers out there.

I listed out the dangers and the deaths associated with the drug already.

Dear Nina,

ROhit was the one who was gifting them to Ronit. But as his fans suggested, he has been taking it for some time.

Lot of entertainers do use plastic surgery, slimming drugs etc. This drug is used for building body mass and used for performance and endurance. Unlike Redbull and other energy drinks which are still passed by FDA, this drug is not passed by FDA. Instead it is sold online, to anyone and every one.

I have asked our physician about the drug because a lot of kids from a local high school were planning on using it. He told me that he would highly recommend against it, because it has many many side effects. Especially for kids under 18.

For those of you who don't have problem using it for themselves and who are as old as Ronit and those who know all the risks involved and still insist it's OK, then I will pray for them.

I just hope Husein and Rakhi are not using it...Of course Rakhi wouldn't because this drug is mainly used by men who want quick results with their physique. πŸ˜› πŸ˜›
