very well said 👏thanks raj for this story 😛Originally posted by: prachi_poorvi
yes sudama ate what was meant for Lord Krishna and therefore remained poor...
But later on in return of little rice he cud offer he gets the wealth beyond his dreams!
On returning home..he can't even recognize his wife...who is now in beautiful, expensive attire residing in a beautiful mansion....!
I think Lord is very kind and just...by the gesture of offering..that is having the feeling of sharing....is highly rewarded!
That s what we learn from this! 😃
ur most welcome Sanchita...Originally posted by: sanchitaroy
Thanks a lot raj for the story. Everyday I come to know many things from this forum.
Imagine he ate just one or two lumps pf grams without sharing with krishna and paid a heavy price remain pauper for life..but when his wife gave him rice that also borrowed from neighbours..krishna just ate those uncooked rice and sudama got wealth beyond hi dreams..thats why when we eat ..we should offer our to food to God and thn eat...this way food becomes prasad for us..and we are blessed..😃Originally posted by: prachi_poorvi

ur most welcome my dear sister Suniti...Imagin Krishna being with him, still Sudama became bit selfish and he dint share the food with him...he paid a heavy price for it..and when his wife gave rice to him for Krishna..in return what Krishna gave, was unbelieveable...tht true..watever karma man does comes back to him in good or bad...😊Originally posted by: desichica
Thanx so much bhai for a wonderful story!!! I remember this story from BRC's Mahabharat...but you know wut, I dint kknow that Sudama remained poor in later on life!!!! There is a saying that goes by "Karma comes to bite you back in one way or another" & another that goes by "You reap what you sow".....how true both these sayings are in this story!!!!
