Is there good news for fans of Sony mature romance, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar? Nivedita Basu writer and creative head of the show has clarified that this Ronit Roy and Pallavi Kulkarni led Balaji Telefilms offering is not going anywhere for the moment. There were report's that it will be replaced by Parvarsish 2 in November due to low TRPs.
However Nivi as Nivedita is known in the industry has tweeted the following
Nivedita Basu @niveditabasu
"It will come as a weekend film now on Saturdays or Sundays."
This news should come as a welcome relief to IKNMP fans who were continuous Tweeting Sony and Nivedita asking the show to be save. As per sources, it seems to be a last minute decision to save IKNMP. Did fan power have a role in this decision?? Star Plus had also moved Badtameez Dill to it's digital platform Hotstar on fan pressure.
Interestingly however Ronit continues to maintain that the show is going off air. He had previously confirmed to his reporter that it is on it's way out. Sayantani Ghosh who plays the negative character of Nivedita also refused to comment.
We wonder what is going on?? Sony please clarify for the sake of fans.
