If given the option of a bride swap, would Neil oblige?

I don't think so.😆

Neil's sudden and bizarre "commitment" to marry Nivedita is a very strange turn in the story and makes no real sense. Why would he want to marry the same woman he so disparagingly rejected a few months (years?) back? What's so different now?

Nive/Neil's sudden engagement appears very contrived, a hatched up plot to fit the story line.

On the other hand, Ragini's and Aman's engagement and subsequent break-up was portrayed well, from a story point of view.

So are Pam's reasons for the wedding. Neil's reputation can be hugely damaged by charges of domestic abuse. This is a big deal.

And Aarav's anger with his mom is also justified. He feels that she could have pulled strings and kept him out of jail, or at least visited him, while he was locked up. She didn't do either. He is very angry at her, because he loves her the most. I get that.

Does Ranbir know of the contract marriage? If not then what does he think will happen once Neil's reputation is salvaged and he is accepted back at the hospital in NYC?
The Khannas will pack their bags and leave?
