It's late at night .. The party's over ..

She's not here .. Cried all the way back to the car, with her fiancee .. and he kept looking .. at both of them.. The man consoling his to-be wife .. Sunken in his arms .. she cried bitterly .. Everyone in the hall was looking at them .. This sight was miserable for him ..

Back in his room .. she kept pestering him .. and he definitely did not like it .. He was thinking about something else .. He was thinking about her .. Why did he do this ? He did not mean it for sure ..

He locks his room .. rests by the arm-chair .. Get himself a drink .. A drink .. but why ? Was he not supposed to have given it up .. for her ? But this was too much to bear .. he's given in to drinking once again .. He felt sorry for her .. He was too angry .. what all he said .. in front of all the guests .. he did not mean it for sure .. sheer anger .. that's it.. The more you're in love .. the more 'fiercely' you fight .. She was too weak .. He did not have any intention to take away her priced asset .. from her .. He actually wanted him .. to stay with him .. and then let him go back to his lovely mother .. But what happened ? Why did he react so foolishly ? He was feeling sorry for that 'lonely' woman..

Drinking to his full .. he lies on his arm-chair .. hoping to get some sleep.. But his 'sins' won't let him sleep .. When you need solace .. it's the BEST moments that help you.. Looking back to the day .. when he came back to India after 15years .. and the day he went away .. The best moments .. THOSE MOMENTS ..

He gets hold of his Gibson SG (a guitar) .. lying in his cupboard .. and starts to SING ... BEST MOMENTS WITH HER..

It's late in the evening ..

she's wondering what clothes to wear ..

She puts on her make-up ..

and brushes her long blonde hair ..

And then she asks me .. "Do I look alright ?"

And I say, "Yes .. You look wonderful tonight ."

Go to a party .. everyone turns to see ..

This beautiful lady ..

that's walking around with me ..

And then she asks me .. "Do I look alright ?"

And I say, "Yes .. You look wonderful tonight ."

I feel wonderful .. because I see ..

The love light in your eyes ..

And the wonder of it all ..

Is that you just don't realize ..

how much I love you ..

It's time to go home now ..

and I've got an aching head ..

So I give her the car keys ..

and she helps me to bed ..

And then I tell her ..

as I turn out the light ..

I say,

"My Darling .. you were Wonderful tonight ..

Oh .. my darling .. you were Wonderful tonight. "

This is how I would have wanted it to be actually. Some sort of connection between the two. But ... sigh!

Damn!

I so wanted a Nachiket solo scene that day when he came back from the hotel after the media attack and snatched a drink from Karan.. wanted him to brood and feel sad.. hope what you've written comes true.. really want him to feel bad for his behaviour with Ragini regarding Aarav..
