I have a theory, guys. It may be completely wrong since I have not been watching the Show properly for some time now, and have missed the nuances, if at all.
I have read the updates though, and I can only say that we still haven't hit the lowliest low. So indeed, brace yourself and tighten your seat belts.

Now, we know A is desperate to marry R. He had waited for her for 15 years. Probably he had never hoped N to turn up, with the kids, after all these years.Once N returned, he realised that NR still loved each other and that R would never give him the love that she had/ has for N, irrespective of their inanities and issues. A was indeed an inch away from losing R, when NR had decided to patch up about 9 months ago. And then of course, the entire situation blew up in it's face and NR separated again. This time, the issues were much more graver, with one son in the jail.

A has always maintained a needy portrayal of himself in front of R, so that he is taken care of. He is obsessed with R, but I doubt whether there is love there. For the simple reason, that for a man who really loves a woman, this period would have been more about offering support, trying to help in different ways, BUT definitely not proposing marriage and getting engaged whatsoever. If he had been a good friend, he would not have done what he did, knowing fully well how vulnerable R was at that point of time. Thank God, he didn't propose pity s**! A good friend will never do this, but an OCD will.

Now coming to the Aarav part - this could be a way, though I dislike NR for dumping that kid in the jail.

Initially, R must have been total broken at the idea of her son being in jail, so she must have dithered. Enter OCD A !

he must have advised her to stay away from A for time being, and must have offered to go and meet Aarav himself. The Patels would have agreed then, knowing how badly R was affected. OCD A would have met the son in the jail and twisted the situation around, making Aarav feel so guilty that he tells OCD A not to let R come over to meet him and see him in the garb of a prisoner.

OCD A would have now gone home and told R the bad state that Aarav was in and how he wished that his Mother would not see him there, and that to keep his wish a secret and had requested OCD A, but being the mahaan atma that he is, OCD A would have to tell the truth to R.

So the systematic weakening of resolve of R begins at his end, and R and Aarav falls prey. The distances between R and the children increases, and R is left all alone. That is when the OCD strikes.

So he is the conduit between those hapless people - each believing he is doodh se dhuley huye, but not realising how dangerous he is !

This is HIS game plan, making R dependent on him so that she has to marry him this time around

I am hating this idea of R not meeting Aarav for 9 months, a Mother would go thru' hell for her kids. NB and her sensitivities brings the Bakery down

Even if I take your theory and consider that, this is quiet possible but still I'm not going to forgive Ragini for not meeting her son in these 9 months, she may cry buckets of tears in the future episodes but still I won't have any soft corner for her as a mother anymore in Aaravs case.
Actually with this stupid reason,I'm finding no difference between Nachiket and her,one left his son and went back to US and the mom never met that son because she can't see him in that condition.
Nb can give any stupid reason but I'm with Aarav once he is back from jail not with either Neil or even with Ragini this time.

And I'm very sorry Rachana, this time I can't be with team Ragini regarding Aaravs issue.

Pavan,
I am actually not talking of forgiving R. It's such a shocker and downer. I wonder why PK agreed to this particular point.

I don't mean to make this personal, but it has taken everything away. In one go.

I never liked her engagement, but still somewhere Ragini the mother was alive and she was dealing in nushus case exactly how a mother need to act and I was totally understood her, more better than nishi herself, but this is totally undone from her part.

I really hope Aman turns negative now, that's the only saving grace to redeem these leading characters.

Agree with you. A becoming negative now makes sense. That's why I thought what role he could play in this.

God only knows what I am still thinking. Maybe I need a bit more time.

Somehow the portrayal of Aman, in my opinion has been nothing but a confused chap who seems remotely dangerous or manipulative.

If I recollect correctly it was Nishi who insisted he proposes Ragini in the initial episodes. I really doubt he feels love as an emotion as intensely as NR feel for one another.

He is just a kind of person who is obsessed like you mentioned or rather used to having R around him all time and wants to be around her as much as he can. Him proposing her would have simply been to offer her that support HE thought she needs.

Maybe Ragini felt indebted towards him for all the support and in that vulnerable state of mind gave in to his proposal. Its just a compromise made for a best friend. She is not in her actual self post the whole Arav jail drama. I am upset with her but also feel sad for her.

Also abt Aman talking to Arav would be something very superficial more of courtesy. I really doubt there is so much of thought process gone in there Rachna. Your analysis sounds very rational and practical but I have serious doubts with NB going down this deep to think.

Aman is just a grown up child. Nothing else!

Maybe you are right. But then, nothing makes sense.

I would have made things this practical, if we all were in deep s***

But given that NB loves A and the actor, nothing's much gonna happen. He will be the one making sacrifices.

I don't have hopes from the precap either, from what I have read about it.

After it's revealed that it's A, R is gonna fuss over him big time. 🤢

One request though - if possible, pl update your story. Maybe then my bhatakti aatma will get shanti.
