Neil is performing a surgery in the operation theatre with the music on. A young doctor turns off the music and assists Neil in his surgery. He later introduces himself as Dr. Karthik Kumar, an expert gynaecologist. Neil praises him and utters that there are many infertile women who have high hopes on his treatment. Karthik appreciates Neil, the latter congratulates him and leaves.
Ragini is frail and broken to know about Nishi's infertility. She wonders how to disclose this to Nishi and discusses her problem with Aman.
Pam does a video chat with RK and inquires him regarding his engagement with Dr. Devika. RK enjoys teasing her on this issue and their fight continues.
Nishi and Jignesh walk joyously with sweets. Ragini arrives along with Aman and discloses Nishi's infertility to her. The latter breaks down and accuses her mother to be the root of everything ill in her life. She claims that Ragini failed to find happiness in her personal life, and so she can't let her daughter stay happy. A shattered Ragini reminds her daughter that she's her mother. But Nishi continues uttering ill and pines for her father.
Neil goes to assist Suhaani in preparing salad and tells her about the young Dr. Karthik and asks her to read his excellent thesis on infertility. Suhaani tells him that she has read it already and feels nervous. On being asked if she's awaiting someone's call, she replies that she's awaiting her professor's call.
Aman comforts Ragini on the matter. She tells him that her children are misunderstanding her. Aman advises her to disclose Nishi's problem to Neil but she denies taking Neil's help.
Suhaani tells her family that she wants to go to an island to spend her vacations. Neil tries to scare her by mentioning wild beasts but doesn't succeed. Suhaani discloses that she's going there with her male friend. Everyone is stunned.
