Why should Nachiket keep his promise to Nivedita? It's not like he kept his wedding promises to Ragini. If he can divorce Ragini, he can divorce Nivedita too. In a way, break up with her before marriage. Also, why does Nivedita want to marry him? To live a life of humiliation especially knowing that she is not loved. Nachiket has not even spoken with her even once like a fiancee and she is so adamant to marry him. Well, if they want to show that kids plan schemes to get rid of Nivedita and have some fun doing that (like in the movie "It Takes Two") I'm fine with that. But I do not like the whole entire mahaanata thing that she is a BECHAARI successful lawyer cum independent woman who will be so wronged if the guy who does not love her declines to marry her!!! đ
