So with all the speculations going around about how terrible and unrealistic the story behind Neira's divorce is, I, for some reason, don't exactly mind the flashback. I mean the way the creative did it, I find it pretty realistic (except for some dramatic and unreasonable parts but that's just Indian soaps being Indian soaps šŸ˜›).

Neil is shown to be a flirt from the beginning. His rapport with Rupali, however, seemed like he doesn't/can't look at her like his love. He considered her more as a friend than anything. So when she comes back from NY prego, I think to some extent, he was right to keeping his promise to his friend. Ragini did assume a lot and didn't try to understand him. Technically, they are both at fault, which is how it should be.

When Rupali died, I think the steps Neil took were in anger of Ragini's actions regarding the phone call from Rupali. Being a doctor, he took an oath to help anyone in need and after seeing his friend die in front of him when she could have been saved, he was morally sad and angry. Hence, his reactions with Ragini after Rupali's death were justified.

Eventually what happened was their egos clashed. They are both stubborn, self made individuals. And when egos clash in any relationship, that isn't a very easy thing to come by. I know the story could be more appealing and interesting. But, I don't think it's THAT bad. We need to just read into their characters a little more 😊

Yea i agree with u. I hadnt watched the flashback and after reaading the topics i expected it to be really bad. But it actually isnt as bad as is being made. The proposal scene isnt too shocking as This is an Ekta show so what else can one expect. Daily serials always have these type of unrealistic storylines.

There are massive loopholes and the flashback was rushed but all in all it wasnt too bad.

The flash backs are ok if you switch our logic off.. However I do feel the creatives used. A very mediocre story line.. They couldve done so much better... But anyway letss wait n see.. If Neil and ragini get back together there will not be much of a storryline left

The thing is, the reason was not worth for 15 years of their separation and it made me doubt for their love for each other and even the title of the show, itna karo na mujhe pyaar.

I think to some extent, Rupali being Neil's patient, He had that doc-patient confidentiality issues as well.. TBH, I think Ragini just overreacted a bit though Neil could have handled that better as well... Also, IMO, I don't get why he just didn't tell Ragini the WHOLE truth after Rupali died about the fact that Suhani is his ADOPTIVE daughter and NOT biological..I mean, no offence but Rups WAS dead... Her swear was officially over...!! :P

Yes I agree with you! I mean to some extent, it is alright. Other than that, the whole dramatic aspect of it could have been handled better. I think it started off well but by the end, like someone said above, the reason wasn't good enough for a 15 year separation. If they played the ego card more, even that might have made more sense.

Understood that Neil treated her as a friend. But there are certain things which can not be hidden from WIFE more so when it comes to jeopardising your family and children. Priorities have to be right. Not that Ragini was keen to marry Neil. She also made some compromises in marrying a flirt.

"Being a doctor, he took an oath to help anyone in need." And talking abt Neil taking an oath to help anyone in need as a doctor, Its obvious he didn't do that when the man approached him to save his wife. And face all these consequences of Suhani falling a victim for his action. So that reason can not be cited to not saving Rupali's life.

Ragini did assume a lot and didn't try to understand him. Its difficult for any wife to trust her husband knowing fully well what kind of relationship he shared with Rupali, or for that matter any lady. In such cases the onus lies entirely on the husband to clear the picture. Which Neil failed to do. When he brought Suhani home and ragini told him that she will not stay in the same house, he said, "do what you want." That was total callousness. He totally failed there. Secondly he also failed to verify if Ragini did receive the call from Rupali. He trusted Rupali more than Ragini. That was again failure on his part. So Ragini was not at fault at all.

Ultimately it turns out that this part of the story has not been handled convincingly by the creative director. It was just rushed through. From that angle the FB WAS BAD for sure. The reason seems to be too flimsy for such a big reaction as separation for 15 yrs, Unless they have some thing else up their sleeves which has not been revealed to the viewers yet.. Lets hope so.
