Neil had declined his daughter Nishi's (Rhea Sharma) invitation to attend her marriage and he had also made sure that his kids never got to meet their mother even if they managed to convince Neil otherwise. For this Neil even tells his kids that their family friends and his best friend Karan (Ashwin Mushran) and his wife Dimpy (Kishwar Merchant) are out of station.

But fate had something else planned as Ragini and her kids who Neil had taken along with him to NewYork end up at the same hotel which is witnessed by Karan who threatens Neil to let the kids know about their mother. This shocks Neil and he promises to come to India and attend Nishi's wedding and deal with everything by himself.
