I'm really curious to know what motive Khushi has behind this strange deal? If it's plain revenge, it would have been better to let his company suffer instead of investing in it. What does she have to gain from this fake boyfriend situation? Keep other guys away perhaps...? She does recall a lot of people flirting with her... maybe she wants to keep that sort of attention away from her. But even if that is the reason, there could be better ways to deal with it. Because no matter how much she tries, it's clear that she hasn't really moved on from Arnav... and being in close proximity with him is only going to keep hurting her further.
