Hello folks,

Here I am with a new story, one that captures slices of Arnav and Khushi's life post canon, i.e., life after the show got over. Every chapter counts as an unrelated one shot, so in a way this story is always complete.

Khushi laid her head on Arnav’s shoulders, trying to fight a yawn as they watched a documentary on pigeons. Of course, it was his night to pick a film.

The highlight of the movie was that pigeons mated for life.

“Khushi?”

“Hmm.”

“I want to ask you something.”

“Yes, I am bored.”

Arnav tsked and muted the documentary. Khushi’s sleep fled. Arnav Singh Raizada’s tsk was not to be taken lightly.

“Acha, puchiye.”

“Wouldn’t it have been better if we knew ki hum… that we’re going to end up together, hamesha ke liye?”

“Would you have smiled at me the minute you saw me?”

“No.”

“Phir, no.”

“Just because I wouldn’t smile at you?”

“Yes, because now you always smile when you look at me.”

“I don’t-” Khushi looked at him. Arnav couldn’t help but smile. Khushi smiled back and snuggled into his side.

“And changing anything would change this and I don’t want that. Also, I was thinking that-”

“Thinking? You were just speaking.”

“I speak and think at the same time.”

“Ah, of course. Toh what were you thinking?”

“Ki aap bade woh ho,”

“Woh matlab kya?” Arnav grinned.

“Kabootar!”

“What the!”

The next day, no one knew why Arnav flew into a fit when Aarav rescued and brought home a pigeon.
