Dear Readers,
A very long post about what we are facing as humans in the globe. Please be patient to read through.
As we are all living this nightmare of the Coronavirus and the havoc it’s creating through the world, I would beg of you all to be safe and cautious. We read cases where people for the strangest reasons escape confinement or even detection. With such crazy people around us, our best bet is to stay home and maintain personal hygiene to the highest extent possible. Please follow all the guidelines suggested by healthcare professionals and the WHO. There are loads of information on the internet from reliable sources from local governments and WHO.

Also I would like to add NOT to be fooled by fake self proclaimed doctors or Babas (For heaven sakes, people are so stupid to fall for these too.).
Wash and Sanitize your hands. Clean all places you touch at home everyday with disinfectant. Disinfect places including door knobs, switches, chairs, tables, cupboard/draw handles, electronics, remotes, mobile phones and chargers,Kitchen appliances switches, wires, taps, bathroom accessories, mugs etc.
Don’t touch your face(easier said than done). Please try as much. If you do, wash your face with soap.
Please make sure your cooks or house helps wash their hands before entering your home or beginning to work.
I heard a few cases where maids have been detected positive. My personal opinion- I feel that the lower strata of the society in our country are not hygienic. Their level of personal hygiene is not to the extent required for prevention of this virus. I pray it doesn’t drip down to that level of society. It would become hard to contain. I would suggest you to educate such people at least your maids or guards or some of them who you know to be safe and spread the word to be hygienic.
And please act responsibly by not going to crowded places including parties, family gatherings too (sounds harsh but we don’t know who are affected if the virus is in the incubated phase).
I know a majority of people are working / studying from home. For those who have young kids, try to wash their hands frequently. They have no clue of what’s going on. Well, working or studying in a place where you have young children is surely a big challenge. Try to engage them in activities than screen time (again easier said than done). have an hour of family time as slowly going out option is reducing. Talk. Chat, watch a movie, play games. don’t get stuck on mobiles.
As a friend of mine suggested lets try to experience the 80s or 90s when mobile was non existent to the common man. We all know it’s going to take not weeks but a few months to get back to a normal life. God forbid if any one in your family is detected positive, don’t panic. Seek medical help immediately and trace all people who came in contact with them.
As for the stories, I will be updating them as soon as I can. This past couple of weeks have been quite scary and tedious. My drafts have not been to my satisfaction yet. I have been distracted.
You can share stories here and tips of what you do that may help other fellow readers. Actually share anything you like as world I feel is getting lonelier not able to meet friends. I would love to read and stay connected.
Signing off for now.
Again please be safe and stay healthy.
Love you all
